Featuring a 12dBi directional dual-polarized antenna and up to 800mW wireless transmission power, it offers stable signal transmission up to 5km. It supports multiple operating modes including AP, Station, WISP, and P2MP, and comes with centralized management software for easy setup and control. 3. Configuració i instal·lació

3.1 Device Layout and Ports

Familiaritzeu-vos amb els ports i indicadors del dispositiu:

• PoE LAN/WAN Port: Connects to the PoE injector for power and data. Can function as either LAN or WAN depending on configuration.
• Port LAN: Connects to a local network device.
• GND: Terminal de connexió a terra.
• Botó de reset: S'utilitza per al restabliment de fàbrica.
• LED PWR: Indicador de potència.
• LED LAN: LAN port activity indicator.
• LED1, LED2, LED3: Signal strength indicators.

3.2 Auto-Pairing for Point-to-Point Connection

The Tenda O3 supports automatic pairing for a quick point-to-point link. This process is demonstrated in the video below.

Steps for Auto-Pairing:

1. Place two Tenda O3 devices, both in factory default state, close to each other.
2. Power on both devices using their respective PoE injectors.
3. Within 1 minute, the two devices should automatically bridge.
4. Once successfully bridged, the DHCP servers on both devices will automatically shut down.
5. The device with constantly lit LED1 and LED2 will be the AP (Access Point) with IP address 192.168.2.1.
6. The device with blinking LED1 and LED2 will be the Client (Station) with IP address 192.168.2.2.

3.3 Connecting Additional Devices (One-to-Many Pairing)

After successful 1-to-1 pairing, you can connect additional O3 devices (in factory default state) to the AP device within 30 minutes. Power on the new devices near the AP. When the LED1, LED2, and LED3 lights on the new devices start blinking, it indicates successful pairing to the AP. These new devices will also function as clients with IP addresses 192.168.2.2.

4. Modes de funcionament

The Tenda O3 supports various operating modes to suit different network requirements:

• Long-Distance Wireless Connection (AP + Station Mode): One O3 device acts as an Access Point (AP) and another as a Station (Client) to establish a long-distance wireless link for video surveillance or data transmission.
• WISP (Client + Router) Mode: Connect wirelessly to a WISP station or hotspot and share the internet connection with local wireless and wired networks.
• P2MP (Point-to-MultiPoint) Link: Link multiple O3 devices (as clients) to a central O3 device (as AP) in a network, allowing all associated clients to communicate with each other.

5. Smart Signal Indicator

The Tenda O3 features three signal LED lights (LED1, LED2, LED3) that indicate the current signal strength received from the peer device. This helps in finding the optimal location to deploy the device for the best performance.

7. Solució De Problemes

7.1 Auto-Pairing Failure

If the 1-to-1 auto-pairing fails, please perform a factory reset on both devices and try again.

Procediment de restabliment de fàbrica:

1. With the Power LED constantly lit, press and hold the Reset button for 8 seconds.
2. Deixeu anar el botó.
3. The device will successfully reset to factory settings when all indicator lights turn on and then off.
