Configuració i Programació

This section details how to program your new remote control to clone an existing one or to set a fixed code.

Programming Code (Cloning from Original Remote)

1. Prepara el nou comandament a distància: Press and hold the button on your new scimagic remote control where you intend to store the code from your original remote. While holding it, press any other button 3 times. Continue holding the first button until the LED illuminates red for 10 seconds. Release all buttons.
2. Comandaments a distància de posició: Place your original remote control to the left of the new scimagic remote, ensuring they are as close as possible.
3. Iniciar la clonació: Press the button on your original remote control that you wish to program. Observe the LED on the new scimagic remote. It should alternate flashing in red and blue. If the LED on the new scimagic remote does not flash blue, try moving it closer to the original remote.
4. Complete Learning: The learning procedure is complete when the new scimagic remote's LED flashes rapidly in blue. Release all buttons.

Procediment de reinici

To assign a new radio code to each button of the remote control, follow these steps:

1. Traieu la bateria: Remove the battery from the remote control for 10 seconds.
2. Press and Hold Button: Press and hold one button on the remote control.
3. Insereix la bateria: While still holding the button, reinsert the battery. Observe the LED indicator:
   • The LED will slowly flash blue for 4 seconds.
   • The LED will then flash quickly blue for 2 seconds.
   • Finally, the LED will illuminate solid blue for a long time.
4. Botó d'alliberament: Release the button. All radio codes are now newly assigned.

Note: If the button is released prematurely during step 3, no new radio codes will be assigned.

Setting Remote with Fixed Code 868MHz

If you need to activate a fixed code at 868MHz, follow the reset procedure and then immediately proceed with the following:

1. After completing the Reset Procedure (Step 4), immediately press and hold a button on the remote.
2. Observe the LED indicator:
   • The LED will slowly flash blue for 4 seconds.
   • The LED will flash rapidly blue for 2 seconds.
   • The LED will illuminate solid blue for a long time.
   • The LED will then slowly flash red for 4 seconds.
   • The LED will flash rapidly red for 2 seconds.
   • Finally, the LED will illuminate solid red for a long time.
3. All radio codes are now newly assigned with the fixed 868MHz code.

Note: If the button is released prematurely during this process, the BiSecur radio code will remain active instead of the fixed code.

Instruccions de funcionament

Once your remote control is successfully programmed, simply press the corresponding button to operate your garage door or gate. The remote features a sliding cover to protect the buttons from accidental presses.

Important Note: The button labeled '1' on the remote control is for decoration only and does not have any functional purpose.

Manteniment

The remote control is powered by an internal battery. When the remote's range decreases significantly or the LED indicator becomes dim, it may be time to replace the battery. The reset procedure described in the 'Setup and Programming' section involves removing and reinserting the battery, which can be used as a guide for battery replacement.

To replace the battery, carefully open the remote control casing, remove the old battery, and insert a new one of the same type, ensuring correct polarity. Close the casing de manera segura.

• Remote not programming: Ensure the original remote is placed as close as possible to the new remote during cloning. If the LED on the new remote does not flash blue, reposition the remotes and try again.
• No new radio codes assigned after reset: This typically occurs if the button is released prematurely during the battery reinsertion step of the reset procedure. Repeat the reset procedure carefully.
• Fixed code not activating: If the button is released too early after the reset when attempting to set the fixed code, the BiSecur rolling code may remain active. Repeat the fixed code setting procedure precisely.
• Reduced range or no response: Check the battery. A weak battery can affect performance. Replace if necessary.
