3. Instal·lació
Instruccions importants de seguretat:

- No user-serviceable components inside; do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
- Mount the controller indoors, avoiding exposure to components and water.
- Install in a well-ventilated place; the heat sink may become hot during operation.
- Instal·leu fusibles/interruptors externs d'acció ràpida adequats.
- Disconnect PV array and battery connections before installation or adjustment.
- Ensure power connections remain tight to avoid excessive heating.
- ADVERTIMENT: Do not install in humid, high salt spray, corrosive, greasy, flammable, explosive, dust accumulative, or other severe environments.
Muntatge:
Step 1: Determine the installation location and heat-dissipation space.

El controlador requereix almenys 150 mm d'espai lliure per sobre i per sota per a un flux d'aire adequat. La ventilació és molt recomanable si es munta en un recinte.
Step 2: Connect the system in the order of battery → load → PV array, and disconnect in the reverse order.
Diagrama de connexió:

- Do not connect the circuit breaker or fast-acting fuse during wiring.
- Ensure electrode polarity is correctly connected.
- A fast-acting fuse (1.25 to 2 times rated current) must be installed on the battery side, no more than 150mm from the battery.
- If an inverter is connected, connect it directly to the battery, not to the load side of the controller.
No-Battery Mode:
When no battery is present, the Tracer-AN G3/Tracer-AN G3 BLE series can be directly connected to an inverter. The inverter must be connected to the battery terminals of the controller and meet the following conditions:
- For high-frequency inverter: PV input power > (load output power ÷ inverter conversion efficiency ÷ controller conversion efficiency)
- For power frequency inverter: PV input power > (load output power ÷ inverter conversion efficiency ÷ controller conversion efficiency ÷ 2)
Wire Size Recommendations:
The PV array's output current varies. The minimum wire size can be calculated from the PV module's short circuit current (ISC). The PV array's ISC must not exceed the controller's maximum PV input current.

Nota: If there is a long distance between the PV array and the controller or between the controller and the battery, larger wires can be used to reduce voltage baixa i millora el rendiment.
Accessoris de connexió:
Sensor de temperatura: Connect the remote temperature sensor cable to the designated interface and place the other end close to the battery. If the sensor is not connected or damaged, the controller will use a default temperature setting of 25°C (no temperature compensation).
Comunicació RS485: The internal circuit of the RS485 port has no isolation design. It is recommended to use an RS485 communication isolator before communicating.

Encès: Connect the battery fast-acting fuse to power the controller. Check the battery indicator status (should be green for normal operation). Then connect the fast-acting fuse and circuit breaker of the load and PV array. The system will then operate in preprogrammed mode.

LCD Display and Buttons:
The LCD screen displays system information. The display is clearest when viewed within a 90° angle. The controller has two buttons: SELECT and ENTER.

Clear Generated Energy:
- Press and hold the ENTER button for 5s under the PV-generated energy interface until the value flashes.
- Press the ENTER button again to clear the generated energy.
Switch Battery Temperature Unit:
Press and hold the button for 5s under the battery temperature interface to switch the temperature unit.

The controller supports Sealed (default), Gel, Flooded, LiFePO4, Li(NiCoMn)O2, and User-defined battery types.
To set locally:
- Press the SELECT button to navigate to the battery voltage interfície.

To set load modes, use PC software, APP, or a remote meter (MT50).
5. Manteniment
Perform the following inspections and maintenance tasks at least twice yearly for optimal performance:
- Ensure no obstructions block airflow around the controller. Clean any dirt or debris from the radiator.
- Check all exposed wires for insulation damage (sun exposure, friction, wear, insects, etc.). Repair or replace damaged wires as needed.
- Verify that the indicator display matches actual operation. Address any troubleshooting or error conditions promptly.
- Confirm that terminals show no corrosion, insulation damage, high temperature, or burnt/discolored signs. Tighten terminal screws to the suggested torque.
- Clean any dirt, nesting insects, or corrosion.
- Check the lightning arrester's condition. Replace if necessary to prevent damage to the controller and other equipment.
PRECAUCIÓ: Risk of electric shock! Ensure the power is turned off before performing any maintenance operations.
