With its compact size, it fits into various mounting boxes, allowing for convenient automation without replacing existing switches. This module supports control via the TuyaSmart/Smart Life app, voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant, and RF433 remote controls (for compatible versions).

Important: Please note that there are different curtain switch types available (Wi-Fi, ZigBee, RF433, 1-channel, 2-channel). Ensure you have the correct module for your setup.

2. Product Variations

The GIRIER Smart Curtain Switch Module comes in several variations to suit different needs:

  • RF433 + Wi-Fi Curtain Switch Module: Offers both Wi-Fi app control and RF433 remote control capabilities.
  • ZigBee Smart Curtain Switch: Requires a Tuya ZigBee gateway hub for app control and smart features.
  • Wi-Fi Smart Curtain Switch: Connects directly to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for app control.

Each type is available in 1-channel (1CH) or 2-channel (2CH) configurations, depending on the number of curtains or blinds you wish to control with a single module.

6. Instal·lació

The smart curtain switch module is designed to be installed behind your existing wall switch or directly connected to your curtain motor. Its compact size allows it to fit into most standard mounting boxes.

Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding with any wiring. A neutral wire (N) is required for all installations.

6.2. Switch Compatibility

The module supports different types of physical switches:

  • 1CH Curtain Switch Module: Compatible with Push Button Switches and Mechanical Rocker Switches. Not compatible with Touch Switches.
  • 2CH Curtain Switch Module: Compatible with Push Button Switches. Not compatible with Mechanical Rocker Switches or Touch Switches.

7. Configuració i emparellament

7.1. App Pairing (Wi-Fi and ZigBee Versions)

To control your curtain module via the TuyaSmart or Smart Life app, follow these steps:

  1. Download the TuyaSmart or Smart Life app from your smartphone's app store.

7.2. RF433 Remote Control Pairing (RF433 + Wi-Fi Version)

If you have the RF433 + Wi-Fi version, you can pair it with an RF433 (1527 encoding) remote controller:

  1. Open the TuyaSmart/Smart Life app and navigate to your curtain module's control interface.
  2. Look for an option to 'Pair RF remote' or similar.
  3. Press the designated button on your RF433 remote control (e.g., Open, Stop, or Close button) as prompted by the app.

8. Funcionament

8.1. Control bàsic

8.2. Percenttage Ajust

You can precisely adjust the opening percentage of your curtains or blinds through the app. This allows you to set them to 0% (fully closed), 50% (half-open), 100% (fully open), or any desired intermediate percentage.

  • Light transmittance adjustment not working: This feature is only available on the RF433 + Wi-Fi curtain switch module. Ensure you have this specific version.
  • No 2-way control: This curtain switch module does not support 2-way control.
