Instruccions de funcionament
Demonstration of ANENG ST180 Clamp Meter features and measurement capabilities.
1. AC/DC Voltage Mesura
Per mesurar AC o DC voltage:
- Connecteu el cable de prova NEGRE a la presa COM i el cable de prova VERMELL a la presa V/Ω.
- Set the function switch to the ACV (~) or DCV (---) position.
- Connect the test leads across the source or load you wish to measure.
- Llegeix el voltage value on the LCD display. For DC measurements, the polarity of the RED test lead will be indicated.

2. Mesura de Resistències
Per mesurar la resistència:
- Connect the BLACK test lead to the COM jack and the RED test lead to the V/Ω jack. (Note: The RED lead is positive "+", and the BLACK is negative "-").
- Col·loqueu l'interruptor de funció a la posició Ω.
- Connecteu els cables de prova al component del qual voleu mesurar la resistència.
- Llegiu el valor de la resistència a la pantalla LCD.
Nota: For resistances above 2 MΩ or 4 MΩ, the meter may take a few seconds to stabilize the reading. This is normal for high resistance measurements. If the input is not connected (open circuit), "OL" will be displayed. Ensure the circuit under test has all power removed and all capacitors are fully discharged before measuring in-circuit resistance.

3. Mesura de corrent alterna
Per mesurar el corrent alterna:
- Set the function switch to the AC Current (A~) range.
- Premeu el gallet per obrir les mordasses del transformador.
- Clamp al voltant only one conductor. It is not possible to make accurate measurements if two or more conductors are clamped simultàniament.
- The display will show the AC current of the conductor.
Important: AC current measurement can only measure the zero line or fire line, and only a core line. The common electrical appliances in the home power supply line are not measured because it contains a number of core wires.

4. Audible Continuity / Diode Test
To perform continuity or diode tests:
- Connecteu el cable de prova NEGRE a la presa COM i el cable de prova VERMELL a la presa V/Ω.
- Set the function switch to the ⚡ (Continuity/Diode) position.
- Push the "SEL" button to select either continuity or diode test mode. The corresponding symbol (⚡ or ▶|▶) will be shown on the LCD.
- Per a la prova de continuïtat: If the circuit resistance is lower than 50Ω, the built-in buzzer will sound.
- For Diode Test: Connect the RED and BLACK test leads to the anode and cathode of the diode, respectively. The forward voltagEs mostrarà la gota del díode.

5. Prova de freqüència
Per mesurar la freqüència:
- Connect the BLACK test lead to the COM jack and the RED test lead to the V/Hz jack.
- Set the function switch to the "Hz" position.
- Connect the test leads across the source whose frequency you want to measure.
- Read the frequency value from the LCD.
Nota: When testing high frequencies (> 1MHz), the input voltage must be less than 10V for accurate readings.
6. Mesura de la capacitat
Per mesurar la capacitat:
- Connect the BLACK test lead to the COM jack and the RED test lead to the V/Ω jack. (Note: The RED test lead is positive "+").
- Set the function switch to the Capacitance (┣) position.
- Connect the test leads across the capacitor under measurement. Ensure the capacitor is disconnected from any outer power source and fully discharged before measurement.
- Check if the "F" mark is shown on the LCD. If not, push the "SEL" button one or more times until it appears.
- Read the capacitance value from the LCD. For large capacitors, it is normal for the meter to take more time to stabilize the reading.
Important: Always discharge capacitors completely before attempting to measure their capacitance to prevent damage to the meter or personal injury.
7. Vol. AC sense contactetage Detecció (NCV)
To use NCV detection:
- Set the function switch to the NCV position. The NCV indicating LED light will flash.
- Porta el clamp jaw close to the AC signal source (e.g., a live wire or outlet).
- Si AC voltage is detected (typically above 100V), the NCV indicating LED will flash constantly, and the beeper will sound. The closer the meter is to the AC source, the faster the alarm sounds.
Nota: Do not attempt to physically contact the testing place with this tester. There will be no numerical display on the LCD in this range; only visual and audible indications.
