3. Configuració i instal·lació

3.1 Choosing a Mounting Base:

The V8S offers two mounting options to suit different helmet types and preferences:

• Base de cargol: Provides a secure, permanent attachment. Ideal for helmets with a suitable edge for clamping.
• Base adhesiva: Offers a strong, semi-permanent attachment using 3M adhesive. Suitable for helmets where a clamp cannot be used or for a cleaner look.

3.2 Installing the Headset:

1. Attach the chosen mounting base to the side of your helmet. Ensure the surface is clean and dry if using the adhesive base.
2. Slide the V8S host unit onto the installed base until it clicks securely into place.
3. Open the helmet's inner lining to access the ear pockets.
4. Attach the speakers to the inside of the helmet, positioning them directly over your ears for optimal sound. Use the provided Horn Velcro.
5. Route the speaker wires neatly under the helmet lining.
6. Select the appropriate microphone:
• Soft Microphone: Best for full-face helmets, as it can be tucked into the lining.
• Hard Microphone: Ideal for open-face, half, or modular helmets, as it can be positioned closer to your mouth.

7. Connect the chosen microphone to the V8S host unit. Use the Mini Microphone Velcro to secure the microphone in place.
8. Ensure all wires are tucked away and do not interfere with helmet comfort or safety.

3.3 Charging the Device:

Before first use, fully charge the V8S headset. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the unit and to a USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours and provides up to 20 hours of usage.

Important Note on Charging:

The V8S has a fast-charging function. It is recommended to use charging adapters with an output voltage below 5V. Do not use charging adapters with an output power greater than 15V, as this may damage the headphones.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Funcions dels botons:

• Tecla d'encesa/apagada: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to play/pause music or answer/hang up calls.
• Volum + / Cançó següent: Prem curt per pujar el volum. Prem llarg per passar a la cançó següent.
• Volum - / Cançó anterior: Prem curt per baixar el volum. Prem llarg per anar a la cançó anterior.
• Intercom Key: Short press to switch to intercom mode (after disconnecting Bluetooth).
• Mini Microphone Interface: Port for connecting the microphone.
• Port de càrrega tipus C: Per carregar el dispositiu.

4.2 Encès/apagat:

• Encès: Press and hold the On/Off key until you hear a power-on prompt.
• Apagar: Press and hold the On/Off key until you hear a power-off prompt.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing with Mobile Phone:

1. With the V8S powered off, press and hold the On/Off key for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.

3. Select "BLAISE V8S" from the list. Once connected, the indicator light will turn blue.
4. You can now make/receive calls, listen to music, and use navigation voice prompts through your headset.

4.4 Intercom Communication:

The V8S supports dual machine interconnection for rider-to-rider communication up to 1000 meters.

1. Ensure both V8S units are powered on and not connected to any mobile phones (disconnect Bluetooth if necessary).
2. On one V8S unit, short press the Intercom key to initiate intercom pairing. The unit will search for another V8S.
3. On the second V8S unit, short press the Intercom key to accept the connection.
4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the units will be in intercom mode.

To switch back to mobile phone functions, disconnect the intercom by short pressing the intercom button again. The V8S can also connect to other Bluetooth headsets for intercom (see Figure 2.2).

4.5 Voice Assistant:

The V8S features a one-click wake-up voice assistant. Once paired with your smartphone, you can activate your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant) to control various functions hands-free.

4.6 Music and FM Radio:

Once paired with your phone, you can stream music. The V8S also supports FM radio functionality. Refer to your phone's music player or specific app for controls. Use the Volume +/- buttons for volume adjustment and long press for track skipping.

• Microphone Optimization: Experiment with the placement of your chosen microphone (soft or hard) to minimize wind noise and maximize voice clarity during calls and intercom use. A good position is usually just in front of your mouth, slightly to the side.

The BLAISE V8S headset comes with a one-year warranty from the activation date of the product. During this period, the host unit will be repaired free of charge for manufacturing defects. To claim warranty service, you will need to upload your purchase certificate to the store's customer service.

Regarding Receiving Goods:

To ensure your rights, please check the product immediately upon receipt for any damage or abnormalities. If any issues are found within 48 hours of receipt, please provide feedback to the after-sales service center. Damage due to logistics or transportation should be reported within 24 hours for claims management. Late reporting may not be accepted.

Return and Exchange of Goods:

Consumers are entitled to seven days for no-reason return or exchange of branded products upon receipt, provided the product is unused and in its original condition. For product failures or damage (excluding human factors) within seven days, consumers can choose to return or exchange. If a malfunction occurs after seven days, consumers can choose to maintain the product repair.
