1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective installation, operation, and maintenance of your DALY 20S 72V Li-ion Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS is designed to protect your lithium battery pack, ensuring its longevity and safe performance in various applications such as electric bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, portable power supplies, and energy storage systems.

2. Contingut del paquet

Please verify that all items are present in your package. The typical packing list for a K series 60A BMS includes:

  • 1 x BMS Unit
  • 1 x manual d'instruccions
  • 1 x Output wire B-P- (Gift, for K/M Series)
  • 1 x NTC (H series integrated NTC)
  • 1 x cable

3. Instal·lació i cablejat

Proper installation is critical for the safe and correct operation of your BMS. The following steps outline the wiring process, using an H series 60A BMS as an example. Always ensure power is disconnected before beginning installation.

  1. Solder the sampling cables: The first black cable in the sampling cable set connects to the total negative terminal of the battery pack (B-). Subsequent red cables connect to the positive terminal of the first string of batteries, then the positive terminal of the second string, and so on, until all balance cables are connected to their respective cell positive terminals.
  2. Comproveu els cables: After connecting the sampling cables, measure the voltage between adjacent cables starting from the header. Ensure there are no wrong connections or missing connections. The voltage difference between adjacent balance wires should correspond to the voltage of a single cell.
  3. Connect the output wires: Connect the B- wire of the BMS to the total negative terminal of the battery pack. Then, plug the sampling cable into the BMS. After activating the BMS, measure the voltage between B+ & B- and the voltage between P+ & P-. These voltages should be consistent with the battery pack voltage.

4.1 Basic Protection Functions

The BMS integrates multiple layers of protection to safeguard your battery:

  • Moisture-proof, Anti-vibration, Anti-oxidation: A national patent glue injection process greatly improves the protection of the BMS against environmental factors.
