The MiBoxer 2.4GHz LED Controller series utilizes advanced 2.4GHz wireless transmission technology, offering low power consumption, long signal transmitting distance, and strong anti-interference capabilities. These controllers are designed for various LED strip lights, including single color, dual white, RGB, RGBW, and RGBCCT, and are widely used in hotel lighting and home lighting applications. They feature auto-transmitting and auto-synchronizing functions for seamless operation.

2. Configuració i instal·lació

2.1 Power Supply and LED Light Interface

The controller operates with a DC 12V-24V input. Ensure your power supply matches this voltage. The output terminals are designed for various LED light interfaces depending on the model (e.g., V+, R, G, B for RGB; V+, CW, WW for Dual White; V+, R, G, B, W for RGBW; V+, R, G, B, CW, WW for RGBCCT).

2.2 Esquemes de cablejat

Carefully follow the wiring diagrams below for your specific LED strip type. Incorrect wiring can damage the controller or LED strips.

2.3 DMX512 LED Transmitter Connection (Optional)

If using a DMX512 LED Transmitter (purchased separately), connect it as shown in the diagram. This allows for DMX512 control of your LED lights.

3. Instruccions de funcionament

3.1 Linking Code / Unlinking Code Instructions

To link the controller with a remote control:

  1. Apagueu la llum.
  2. After 10 seconds, switch the light on again.
  3. Within 3 seconds of switching on, short press the "I" button on the remote control 3 times.
  4. The light will blink 3 times slowly, indicating successful linking.

Attention: If linking fails (light is not blinking slowly), please repeat the steps. A light that has already been linked cannot be linked again.

To unlink the controller from a remote control:

  1. Apagueu la llum.
  2. After 10 seconds, switch the light on again.
  3. Within 3 seconds of switching on, short press the "I" button on the remote control 5 times.
  4. The light will blink 10 times quickly, meaning the unlinking is done successfully.

Attention: If unlinking fails (light is not blinking quickly), please repeat the steps. A light that hasn't been linked does not need to be unlinked.

3.2 Signal Transmitting and Modes Synchronization

One controller can transmit signals from the remote control to another controller within 30m, extending the control distance limitlessly. Different lights can work synchronously when they are started at different times, controlled by the same remote, under the same dynamic mode, and within 30m distance.

Attention: The same dynamic mode and speed can be synchronized.

3.3 Dynamic Mode Table Selection

To select dynamic modes:

  • Select dynamic mode table 1 (default): While the light is in static mode, short press the "S+" button 5 times quickly until the blue light flashes 3 times slowly.
  • Select dynamic mode table 2 (manual switch): While the light is in static mode, short press the "S-" button 5 times quickly until the yellow light flashes 3 times slowly.

3.4 "Do Not Disturb" Mode

This mode can be activated or turned off via remote control, useful in areas with frequent power failures to save energy.

To turn on "Do Not Disturb" mode:

Press the "OFF" button three times within three seconds, then press the "ON" button three times. The mode is successfully activated once the LED light flashes four times quickly.

Attention: Do not disturb mode is activated.

  • When the light is OFF: The light remains OFF even after power cycling. To activate, turn power on twice or use the app/remote.
  • When the light is ON: The light remains ON after power cycling.

To turn off "Do Not Disturb" mode:

Press the "ON" button three times within three seconds, then press the "OFF" button three times. The mode is successfully closed once the LED light flashes four times slowly.

Attention: The light will always be "ON" status if you turn on and turn off power once closed "Do Not Disturb" mode.

3.5 PWM High/Low Frequency Switching

This feature allows switching between high and low PWM frequencies.

Switch to high frequency (on the condition of turning on the light):

  1. Short press the "OFF" button of the remote control once.
  2. Short press the "ON" button 5 times within 3 seconds. The white light will blink 2 times quickly, indicating successful switching.

Switch to low frequency (on the condition of turning off the light):

  1. Short press the "ON" button of the remote control once.
  2. Short press the "OFF" button 5 times within 3 seconds. The white light will blink 2 times slowly, indicating successful switching.

5. Troubleshooting and Attention

Consideracions importants:

  1. Comproveu sempre que el voltage of the power supply is in accordance with the light's requirements. Incorrect voltage can damage the light.
  2. Ensure the connection of both the cathode and anode is correct. Otherwise, the light will not function properly or may be damaged.
  3. Do not connect wires with power on. Always turn off the power before making or changing connections. Only turn power on when connections are correct and there are no short circuits.
  4. Non-professional users should not attempt to dismantle the lighting fixtures directly.
  5. Avoid using the light in places with widely ranged metal areas or strong electromagnetic waves nearby, as this can seriously affect the remote control distance and performance.

Compatible Remote Controls (Purchased Separately)

The controller is compatible with various MiBoxer remote controls. Ensure you have a compatible remote for full functionality.

6. Consells d'usuari

  • App Control Requirement: To use smartphone app control (e.g., Smart Life, Tuya Smart) or third-party voice control (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant), an additional 2.4G gateway is required. The controller cannot directly connect to these apps without the gateway.
  • Linking Issues: If you experience difficulty linking the controller to a remote or app, ensure you are following the linking/unlinking steps precisely and within the specified timeframes (e.g., 3 seconds after power on).
  • Power Cycling for Activation: When using the "Do Not Disturb" mode, remember that if the light is OFF, you may need to power cycle it twice (turn off then on, then off then on again) to reactivate it, or use the remote/app.

7. Manteniment

The MiBoxer LED Controller is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. Keep the device clean and free from dust. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Do not attempt to open or repair the unit yourself, as this will void the warranty and could lead to electric shock.
