2. Guia de configuració

2.1. CPU & Fan Installation

Install the CPU into the AM4 Socket as shown below. Ensure proper alignment and gentle handling.

• Make sure the motherboard supports your specific CPU model.
• Always unplug the power cord before installing or removing the CPU to prevent hardware damage.
• Retain the CPU protective cap after installing the processor.
• Do not power on the computer without the CPU cooler installed to prevent overheating.
• Ensure the CPU heat sink forms a tight seal with the CPU.
• Apply an even layer of thermal paste between the CPU and heatsink.
• Align the CPU and socket using the small triangle marks for Pin One. Gently place the CPU into the socket, lower the locking lever, and latch it. Do not force the CPU.

2.2. Instal·lació de memòria

The motherboard features two DDR4 DIMM slots. Follow these steps for memory installation:

2. Insert the memory module by aligning it with the notch in the slot.
3. Flip the latches back to lock the memory module.
4. If installing only one memory module, install it in the outermost slot.

• Always turn off the computer and unplug the power cord before installing memory.
• Memory modules have a foolproof design; they can only be inserted in one direction. If it doesn't fit, switch the direction.
• Dual-Channel mode requires two memory modules.

The motherboard provides one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and one PCIe 2.0 x1 slot for expansion cards.

• Press the card firmly until it is fully inserted and secured.

Important:

• Always turn off the power supply and unplug the power cable before adding or removing expansion cards.
• Incorrect installation can cause short circuits and damage the card or motherboard.

2.4. Instal·lació d'un SSD M.2

2.5. Potència de connexió

Important:

3.1. Configuració de la BIOS

The BIOS (Basic Input and Output System) manages the hardware parameters and initializes components during startup. It allows users to modify basic system configurations.

Important:

• BIOS flashing is potentially risky. Only flash the BIOS if necessary and with caution. Inadequate flashing can lead to system malfunction.
• The default BIOS settings are recommended for optimal system stability. Modifying settings incorrectly can prevent the system from booting.
• BIOS updates may change settings. This manual serves as a reference.

3.2. Entrar a la configuració de la BIOS

To enter the BIOS Setup Menu:

• When the computer starts, press the DEL clau.
• Alternatively, use the “Quick Boot Key” by pressing F11.
• If the message disappears too quickly, restart the computer by pressing the Restableix button on the case or by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Suprimeix.

4. Manteniment

4.1. CMOS clar

Clearing the CMOS can help resolve certain system issues by restoring BIOS settings to their defaults.

3. Short the JCMOS1 jumper (usually by moving a jumper cap from pins 1-2 to 2-3, waiting a few minutes, then returning it to 1-2).

4.2. Atenció general

• Keep the motherboard and PC case clean and free of dust to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.

5.1. Can't Boot (No response, fan not rotating, indicator light off)

5.2. Start-up and then Shutdown (Fan rotates once then stops)

• Check motherboard heat dissipation (CPU fan working, cooler base tightly fitted, thermal paste applied).

• Bateria CMOS: Note that due to shipping restrictions, the CR2032 CMOS battery is not included with the motherboard. You will need to purchase and install one separately.
