The battery module features two types of terminal connections for robust and efficient power transfer:

  • Stud Nuts Locking: Provides an easy-to-maintain connection.
  • Laser Welding: Bus bars and terminals are directly welded to reduce internal resistance and enhance performance.

4.1. Instal·lació física

The battery module is designed for wall-mounted installation. It also includes movable wheels for convenient positioning before final mounting.

4.2. Connexions elèctriques

Connect the battery module to your home energy system components as illustrated in the diagram below. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes.

  • Connect the positive (P+) terminal (red) and negative (P-) terminal (black) of the battery to the corresponding terminals on your inverter.
  • Ensure proper polarity to prevent damage to the battery or inverter.

  • Set the correct DIP switch addresses (RST ADD) if multiple units are used in parallel or if required by your inverter's communication protocol.

The BR-OW-LV series battery modules can be connected in parallel to increase total energy storage capacity, supporting up to 15 units. Follow the diagram below for correct parallel wiring, ensuring all DC+, DC-, and communication lines are properly connected between units and to the inverter.

5.1. Encendre/apagar

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the battery module's front panel. Press the switch to power the unit on or off.

5.2. LCD Screen Operation

The integrated LCD screen provides real-time information about the battery's status. Use the MENU, ENTER, and ESC buttons to navigate through the display options.

6. Manteniment

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your battery module.

  • Emmagatzematge: Store the battery in a dry and cool environment, within the specified storage temperature range of -40°C to 55°C at 60% ± 25% relative humidity.

    • Càrrega: Ensure the ambient temperature is between 0°C and 60°C. If charging below 0°C, an extra heating mechanism is required.
    • Descàrrega: The battery can discharge between -20°C and 60°C. However, performance and capacity will be reduced when operating below 0°C.

  • Seguiment: Regularly check the LCD screen for any abnormal readings or alarm messages. Address any warnings promptly.

  • Reduced Performance in Cold Weather:
    • This is normal for LiFePO4 batteries. Ensure an extra heating mechanism is in place if charging below 0°C.
    • Expect reduced discharge capacity below 0°C.
  • Cannot Access Settings:
    • The "Para Settings" and "SYS Settings" menus are restricted to manufacturers. If configuration changes are needed, please contact technical support.
