5. Configuració i instal·lació

5.1. Installation Wiring Diagram

The switch can work normally with or without a neutral wire. Ensure your switch is OFF before operations.

5.2. Capacitor Installation (for No-Neutral Wire setups)

If you are installing the switch without a neutral wire, a capacitor must be connected to the lamp. This is crucial for the switch to function correctly.

• For 1 Gang switches: Connect the capacitor to the L2 and N line of the lamp.
• For 2 Gang switches: Connect the capacitor to the L1 and N line of the lamp.
• For 3 Gang switches: Connect the capacitor to the L1 and N line of the lamp.

NOTA:

• It is not necessary to connect a capacitor for switch lamps with a grounding neutral line and live wire.
• The capacitor must be connected with L and N of the lamp of L1, not behind the switch itself.

5.3. Instal·lació física

1. Remove the glass panel from the switch using a screwdriver.
2. Connect the wiring according to the diagram in section 5.1.
3. Place the switch into the switch box in the wall.
4. Mount the two side screws to secure the switch.
5. Install the glass panel by attaching it from the top.

6.1. RF Remote Control Pairing

The smart switch can be paired with any 433MHz RF transmitters (supporting standard code 1527) for direct control, even without a Wi-Fi signal.

1. Ensure your switch is powered off before starting the pairing process.
2. Press and hold the switch button for approximately 8 seconds until you hear two 'Di-Di' sounds. This indicates successful RF code matching.

6.2. App Remote Control Setup (Wi-Fi Link)

Control your lights from anywhere using the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app on your smartphone or tablet, provided you have 4G or Wi-Fi connectivity.

1. Download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app from your app store. You can also scan the QR code below.
2. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth is enabled.
3. Open the Smart Life/Tuya App and click the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a device.
4. The app should automatically detect the new device. Click "Go to add" when prompted.
5. Select the detected device and click "+".
6. Enter your Wi-Fi password and click "Confirm". Wait for the connection to complete.
7. Once the device is added successfully, you can edit its name and access its control page by clicking "Done".
