1. Introducció

The Askey HH20C is an advanced 5G CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) Router designed to provide high-speed internet access through 5G NSA (Non-Standalone) and SA (Standalone) networks, as well as 4G LTE. Featuring Wi-Fi 6e technology, it supports 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands, offering a robust and reliable wireless connection for home and small office environments. This device functions as a home WiFi gateway with a built-in SIM card slot, making it a versatile solution for various network requirements. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your HH20C router.

3.2 Panell posterior

The rear panel houses all the necessary physical interfaces for network connectivity and device management.

• Botó WPS: Per a una connexió ràpida i segura a dispositius Wi-Fi.

• LAN Ports (2x RJ45): For connecting wired devices to the local network.

4. Instruccions de configuració

Follow these steps for initial setup of your Askey HH20C router:

1. Insereix la targeta SIM: Locate the SIM card slot on the bottom of the router. Carefully insert your Nano-SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented as indicated by the diagram near the slot.
2. Connectar l'alimentació: Connect the provided power adapter to the Power port on the rear of the router and then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The router will automatically power on.
3. Encès: Wait for the router to boot up. The indicator lights on the router will show its status. Refer to the LED indicator section (if available in documentation) for details.
4. Connexió Wi-Fi inicial: On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks. Select the network name (SSID) found on the product label on the bottom of your router. Enter the Wi-Fi password (also on the label) to connect.
5. Accés Web Interfície de gestió: Obre a web browser and enter the Admin IP address (e.g., http://192.168.1.1) found on the product label. Enter the Admin Password when prompted to access the router's configuration page.
6. (Opcional) Connexió amb cable: For a wired connection, connect one end of the Ethernet cable to a LAN port on the router and the other end to your computer's Ethernet port.

Once set up, you can manage and utilize your Askey HH20C router for various networking tasks.

5.1 Connexió de dispositius

• Dispositius Wi-Fi: Connect smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other Wi-Fi enabled devices using the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. For quick connections, use the WPS button: press the WPS button on the router, then activate WPS on your device within two minutes.
• Dispositius amb cable: Use Ethernet cables to connect devices like desktop computers, gaming consoles, or smart TVs to the LAN ports for a stable, high-speed connection.

5.2 Web Interfície de gestió

El web management interface allows you to configure advanced settings:

• Configuració de la xarxa: Configure WAN settings, LAN IP address, DHCP server, etc.
• Configuració de Wi-Fi: Change SSID, password, security type (WPA/WPA2/WPA3 Personal), enable/disable Wi-Fi bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz).
• Característiques de seguretat: Set up firewall rules, QoS (Quality of Service), and VPN settings.
• Eines del sistema: Update firmware, view system logs, reboot the router, and manage user accounts.

5.3 5G/4G Connectivity

The router automatically detects and connects to available 5G or 4G LTE networks via the inserted SIM card. Ensure your SIM card has an active data plan for internet access.

7. Manteniment

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Askey HH20C router, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Col·locació: Place the router in a central location, away from obstructions, large metal objects, and other electronic devices that may cause interference. Ensure good ventilation around the device.

8.1 Sense accés a Internet

• Comproveu la targeta SIM: Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and has an active data plan.
• Intensitat del senyal: Verify the 5G/4G signal strength. If it's weak, try repositioning the router.
• Estat del router: Check the router's indicator lights. Refer to the device's LED guide for specific meanings.
• Reinicieu: Power cycle the router and your connected devices.

8.2 Velocitat Wi-Fi lenta

• Interferència: Move the router away from other electronic devices (cordless phones, microwaves) that might cause interference.

• Distància: Ensure devices are within optimal range of the router. Wi-Fi 6e (6GHz) has shorter range but higher speed.

8.4 Forgot Wi-Fi Password or Admin Password

• Etiqueta del producte: The default Wi-Fi SSID and password, as well as the Admin Password, are printed on the product label on the bottom of the router.
• Restabliment de fàbrica: If you have changed the passwords and forgotten them, you can perform a factory reset by pressing and holding the Reset button for 10 seconds. This will revert all settings to their factory defaults, including passwords.
