1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your ANENJI WiFi Module. This device enables remote monitoring of compatible MPPT On/Off Grid Hybrid Solar Power Inverters, providing convenient access to your system's performance data.

3. Instruccions de configuració

3.1 Instal·lació física

  1. Connecteu l'antena: Screw the antenna firmly onto the designated port on the WiFi module body.
  2. Connect Communication Cable to Module: Plug one end of the communication cable into the WiFi Module.
  3. Connect Communication Cable to Inverter: Plug the RJ45 head of the communication cable into the RS232 port on your compatible solar inverter.

3.2 Network Configuration (SmartESS App)

Follow these steps to configure the WiFi module using the SmartESS application:

  1. Download the SmartESS App: Scan the QR code provided in the Quick Installation Guide or search for "SmartESS" in your app store (available for Android and iOS).
  2. Access WiFi Configuration:
    • Open the SmartESS app.
    • Click on "Toolbox" from the login screen.
    • Select "Wi-Fi network" from the options.
  3. Connect to Datalogger WiFi:
    • The app will prompt you to enter the Wi-Fi list interface of your mobile phone. Click on "the system connection" to go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings.
    • Locate and connect to the WiFi network broadcast by the datalogger (e.g., starting with "Q00...").
    • The default password for the datalogger WiFi is 12345678.
    • Return to the SmartESS app after connecting.
  4. Connect to Local WiFi Router:
    • In the app's "Network Setting" screen, click the WiFi icon next to "Router name" to scan for available local WiFi networks.
    • Select your local WiFi network (router name) and enter its password.
    • Confirm the settings. The module will reboot.
    • Nota: Wi-Fi with 5GHz wireless frequency is not supported. Ensure your router is operating on 2.4GHz.
  5. Verifica la connexió: After the router setting is successful and the module reboots, the app should display "Connect ready". You can then click "Diagnose" to check the network status. A successful configuration will show a connection from Inverter to Datalogger, Router, and Server.

4. Funcionament

4.1 Monitorització remota

Once the WiFi module is successfully configured and connected to your local network and the internet, you can remotely monitor your solar inverter's performance through the SmartESS app. Log in to your account within the app to view real-time data and historical records.

4.2 Indicadors LED

The WiFi module features several LED indicators to show its status:

  • PWR (potència): Indicates the power status of the module.
  • COM (Comunicació): Indicates communication status with the inverter.
  • XARXA (NET): Indicates connection status to the local WiFi network.
  • SRV (Servidor): Indicates connection status to the remote monitoring server.

5. Manteniment

The ANENJI WiFi Module is designed for low maintenance. To ensure optimal performance:

If you encounter issues with your WiFi module, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

6.1 Problemes de connexió de xarxa

If the SmartESS app indicates an "Inverter with datalogger communication exception" or similar network issues, consider the following repair advice:

  1. Comproveu la potència: Verify that both the inverter and the datalogger (WiFi module) are properly powered on.
  2. Inverter Address: Ensure the inverter address is set correctly, typically between 1 and 5.
  3. Inspeccionar connexions: Check the physical connections between the inverter and the datalogger for any abnormalities, such as loose contacts, issues with the 485 interface AB, or cable damage.
  4. Reinicieu els dispositius: Try restarting both the inverter and the datalogger. Observe if the anomaly is eliminated after the restart.

6.2 Problemes de compatibilitat

The WiFi module is designed for specific ANENJI inverter models. If you are experiencing connection problems, ensure your inverter model is compatible. Compatible models include, but are not limited to: ANJ-4000W-24V-WiFi, ANJ-6200W-48V-WiFi, ANJ-11000W-48V-WiFi, ANJ-2000W-12V-WiFI, and ANENJI HHP-II-6.2KP-WiFI. If your model is not listed, please contact customer support for verification.

6.3 WiFi Frequency

Remember that the WiFi module does not support 5GHz wireless frequency. Ensure your local router is configured to use the 2.4GHz frequency band, as the module does not support 5GHz.
