1. Introducció

The WEEFINE WF078 Smart Focus 2500 is a versatile, all-in-one underwater video light designed for scuba diving and underwater photography. It features a powerful 2500 lumen flood light, a 100 lumen red beam, and an 18W UV beam, all with a wide 100° beam angle. This compact and robust light is depth-rated to 100 meters and includes advanced features such as Automatic Flash Off (AFO) spotting and automatic overheating protection.

3. Configuració

3.2 Instal·lació i càrrega de la bateria

1. Unscrew the Tail Cap of the light.
2. Insert the provided battery pack, ensuring correct polarity.
3. Securely screw the Tail Cap back on.
4. Before first use, fully charge the battery using the provided charger. The Battery Level Indicator LED will show charging status.

The Smart Focus 2500 comes with both a 1-inch ball head and a YS mount for versatile attachment to your underwater camera system or diving gear. Choose the appropriate mount and securely attach it to the light and your equipment.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Engegada/Apagada i Canvi de Mode

The light is operated using the two buttons on the top. The exact sequence for power on/off and mode switching may vary slightly, but generally:

• Encès: Press and hold one of the buttons until the light turns on.
• Canvi de mode: Short press one of the buttons to cycle through the available light modes (Flood, Red, UV).
• Apagar: Press and hold one of the buttons until the light turns off.

4.2 Ajust de brillantor

Brightness can be adjusted for Flood and Red light modes:

• Llum d'inundació: In flood mode, press the Right button to switch brightness levels: 100% → 50% → 25% → 300 Lumens → 100%.
• Llum vermella: In red mode, press the Right button to switch brightness levels: 100% → 50% → 25% → 100%.
• Llum UV: The UV brightness is not adjustable and operates at 100%.

4.3 Funcions especials

• AFO Spotting Light (Automatic Flash Off): All different color beams can be used as an AFO spotting light. In this mode, the light will momentarily quench (turn off) when it senses an external camera flash being fired, preventing backscatter in your photos.
• Flashing/SOS Mode: The light supports flashing and SOS signaling modes. Refer to the button operation diagram (Figure 4) for activation.
• Automatic Shut-off Mode: The light features an automatic shut-off mode to conserve battery.

The light beam surrounding the on/off button changes color to indicate the remaining battery level, providing a convenient visual cue for the user.

5. Manteniment

Proper O-ring maintenance is crucial for maintaining the waterproof seal of your diving light.

1. After each dive, rinse the light thoroughly with fresh water.
2. Carefully remove the Tail Cap and inspect the O-rings for any dirt, sand, hair, or damage. Use the provided O-ring removal tool if necessary.
3. Clean the O-rings and the O-ring grooves with a soft cloth.
4. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings.
5. Replace any damaged O-rings with the provided spares.
6. Ensure the Tail Cap is screwed on tightly and evenly before diving.

5.2 Automatic Overheating Protection

The Smart Focus 2500 has a built-in automatic protection function against overheating. If the ambient temperature exceeds 50°C (e.g., when used out of water for extended periods), the light will automatically reduce its brightness to 20% to prevent damage to internal components. This is a normal safety feature.

5.3 Atenció general

• Do not attempt to disassemble the light beyond removing the tail cap for battery access.

6. Solució De Problemes

6.1 Light Does Not Turn On

• Comproveu si la bateria està correctament instal·lada i completament carregada.
• Ensure the tail cap is securely tightened.

6.2 Light Dims Automatically

• This is likely the automatic overheating protection activating. If the light is used in high ambient temperatures (above 50°C), it will reduce brightness to 20% to protect components. Allow the light to cool down.

• Immediately turn off the light and remove the battery.
• Inspect the O-rings and their grooves for any debris, damage, or improper seating.
• Clean and re-grease the O-rings, or replace them with spares if damaged.
• Ensure the tail cap is tightened correctly and evenly.
