1. Introducció

The Tenda RE6L Pro / BE5100 is a state-of-the-art WiFi 7 router designed to deliver exceptional network performance for modern homes. Featuring a powerful dual-core CPU and a 6nm Wi-Fi chip, it achieves a concurrent wireless speed of up to 5011 Mbps. This router is equipped with five high-gain antennas and five built-in FEMs (Front-End Modules) to ensure superior wall penetration and extended Wi-Fi coverage. It supports Wi-Fi+ Mesh networking for seamless whole-home connectivity and offers convenient features like one-touch Wi-Fi connection via NFC. The RE6L Pro / BE5100 is ideal for households with numerous connected devices, providing a stable, fast, and smooth internet experience for all family members.

3. Guia de configuració

3.1. Scenario 1: Set Up the Device as a Router

This section guides you through setting up your Tenda RE6L Pro / BE5100 as your primary router for internet access.

3.1.1. Connecteu l'encaminador

1. Connect the power adapter to the router's POWER jack and plug it into a power outlet.
2. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the WAN port (or any Ethernet port, as they are auto-adaptive) of the router and the other end to your modem's LAN port or the Ethernet jack from your ISP.
3. Power on the modem (if applicable) and the router.

3.1.2. Connect the Router to the Internet

1. Connect your wireless client (e.g., smartphone) to the router's default Wi-Fi network. The default Wi-Fi name (SSID) can be found on the label on the device body (e.g., Tenda_XXXXXX). There is no Wi-Fi password by default.
2. Obre a web browser on your connected device. The page should automatically redirect to the web UI of the router. If not, disable your mobile data traffic, open a browser, and visit tendawifi.com a la barra d'adreces.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts:
   • Tap "Start".
   • If the router detects your connection type as PPPoE, you will be prompted to enter your PPPoE username and password (provided by your ISP). Set a new Wi-Fi name, Wi-Fi password, and login password.
   • If the router detects your connection type as DHCP, your internet access should be available without further configuration. You will then set a new Wi-Fi name, Wi-Fi password, and login password.
4. Once configuration is complete, the indicator light will turn solid green, indicating a successful internet connection.

Notes importants:

• The Wi-Fi password is for connecting to the wireless network, while the login password is for accessing the router's web interfície de gestió.
• This router supports IPv6, which is enabled by default. If your broadband service supports IPv6, you can access the IPv6 network after setup.
• For Wi-Fi-enabled devices: Connect to the router's new Wi-Fi network. 5G Wi-Fi is recommended for optimal performance.
• For wired devices: Connect to any Ethernet port of the router using an Ethernet cable.

3.2. Scenario 2: Set Up as an Add-on Node (Mesh Networking)

This router can be networked with other Tenda WiFi+ routers to extend your network coverage.

Requisits previs:

• Ensure the existing router (primary node) is already connected to the internet.
• The router to be added (secondary node) must be in its factory default state. If not, reset it first (refer to Q4 in Troubleshooting).

3.2.1. Add the Router to an Existing Network

1. Place the new router (secondary node) in an elevated and open position within 3 meters of your existing router (primary node).
2. Connect the power adapter to the new router and plug it into a power source.
3. Press the MESH/RST button on the new router for approximately 1-3 seconds. The indicator will blink green quickly.
4. Within 2 minutes, press the MESH/WPS button on the existing router (primary node) for 1-3 seconds to initiate negotiation. The indicator on the primary node will also blink green quickly.
5. When the indicator of the new router turns solid green, the networking is successful, and it becomes a secondary node in the Mesh network.

3.2.2. Relocate the Router

1. Relocate the secondary node to a desired position, ensuring the distance between any two nodes is less than 10 meters for optimal signal.
2. Power on the secondary node again.
3. Wait for 1-2 minutes. Observe the router's indicator:
   • Solid green: Good connection quality between primary and secondary nodes.
   • Solid orange: Fair connection quality.
   • Solid red: Poor connection quality. Consider moving the secondary node closer to the primary node.

Accessing the Internet in Mesh Network:

• Wi-Fi-enabled devices: Connect to your Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi name and password will be the same as the primary router.
• Wired devices: Connect to any Ethernet port of any router in the Mesh network using an Ethernet cable.

3.3. Internet Connection with NFC

The router features NFC stickers for convenient one-touch Wi-Fi connection with NFC-enabled Android or HarmonyOS phones/tablets.

3.3.1. Write Wi-Fi Information to NFC Stickers

1. Install and register the Tenda WiFi App by scanning the QR code provided in the Quick Installation Guide (or visit www.tendacn.com).
2. After managing the router through the App, navigate to the "NFC Sticker" section in the router configuration page.
3. Select the Wi-Fi name you wish to write to the sticker and tap "Write NFC Sticker".
4. Place the NFC sticker near the NFC area of your phone (usually around the camera on the back).
5. Wait for confirmation that the Wi-Fi information is successfully written. Place the NFC sticker in a visible location for easy access.

3.3.2. Connect Your Phone to the Internet via NFC

1. Ensure NFC is enabled on your phone, and the screen is unlocked and active.
2. Place your NFC-enabled phone near the NFC sticker.
3. Wait for a sound or vibration prompt, then remove the phone.
4. When prompted "Connect to network", tap "CONNECT" to join the Wi-Fi network.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Tenda RE6L Pro / BE5100 router, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Mantenir net: Regularly dust the router and its vents to prevent overheating. Use a soft, dry cloth.
• Ventilació adequada: Ensure the router is placed in an area with good airflow. Do not cover the vents or place it in an enclosed space.

6. Resolució de problemes (FAQ)

P1: No puc iniciar sessió al web Interfície d'usuari visitant tendawifi.com. Que hauria de fer?

A1: First, try to visit http://tendawifi.com or http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar (not the search bar).

• Si utilitzeu un dispositiu compatible amb Wi-Fi, com ara un telèfon intel·ligent:
  • Ensure that your smartphone is connected to the Wi-Fi network of the router. For the first login, connect to the default Wi-Fi name (Tenda_XXXXXX) on the device label. After settings, use the changed Wi-Fi name and password.
  • Assegureu-vos que la xarxa mòbil (dades mòbils) del telèfon intel·ligent estigui desactivada.
• Si feu servir un dispositiu amb cable, com ara un ordinador:

Q3: Some computers cannot search for the router's Wi-Fi. What should I do?

A3: Proveu les solucions següents:

• Change the network mode of the router's 2.4G Wi-Fi and 5G Wi-Fi to not include 802.11ax and 802.11be, and search again.
• If the router's Wi-Fi can be searched after changing the network mode, the wireless network adapter version is older and needs to be updated. You can go to the corresponding official website of the wireless network adapter to download and install, or use software such as a driver wizard to detect and update online.
• If only 2.4G Wi-Fi is searched, first check whether the computer supports the 5G band. If other 5G Wi-Fi can be searched, change the 5G Wi-Fi channel of the router to channel 36 or channel 149 in turn, and then search. If it can be searched after changing the channel, it means that the 5G wireless network adapter only supports high-channel or low-channel Wi-Fi.

P4: Com puc restaurar el router a la configuració de fàbrica?

A4: Amb l'encaminador connectat a l'alimentació i encès, manteniu premut el botó de reinici (marcat amb RST o Reset) de l'encaminador durant uns 8 segons i deixeu-lo anar quan l'indicador parpellegi ràpidament en vermell. Després d'aproximadament 1 minut, l'encaminador s'ha reiniciat correctament i es reinicia. Podeu tornar a configurar l'encaminador.
