5. Instruccions de configuració

1. Instal·leu l'aplicació: Download the recommended application, "iSearching" or "Kindelf," from your smartphone's app store (available for both iOS and Android).
2. Power On the Locator: Ensure the CR2032 button battery is correctly inserted into the locator. The device should automatically power on.

6.1 Finding Items (within Bluetooth range)

1. Open the "iSearching" or "Kindelf" app on your smartphone.
2. Select the paired iFindU locator from your list of devices.
3. Tap the "CALL" or "Ring" button within the application. The locator will emit an audible alarm.
4. Follow the sound to quickly locate your item.

6.2 Anti-Loss Alert

If the iFindU locator and your smartphone move out of their effective Bluetooth range (typically 10-50 meters), both devices can be configured to send alerts, notifying you of the disconnection. This feature helps prevent items from being left behind.

When the Bluetooth connection between your phone and the iFindU locator is lost, the app will automatically record the last known location on a map. This allows you to view the approximate area where the item was last connected, helping you narrow down your search.

7. Manteniment

When the battery is low or after approximately 180 days of standby time, replace it with a new CR2032 battery. To replace, gently open the device casing (refer to product diagrams if available for specific opening instructions), remove the old battery, and insert the new one with the correct polarity.
• Neteja: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or submerging the device in water.

• Locator not connecting or frequently disconnecting:

  • Close and reopen the "iSearching" or "Kindelf" app, or try reinstalling it.

  • The iFindU is a Bluetooth locator. The "Location Record Locator" feature shows the *last known location* where the device was connected to your phone via Bluetooth, not continuous real-time GPS tracking when out of range.
  • Accuracy of the last recorded location depends on your phone's GPS and network services at the time of disconnection.
• Does the locator work with Xiaomi Home app?
  • No, the locator is designed to work with the "iSearching" or "Kindelf" application, not the Xiaomi Home application.
