2. Contingut del paquet

3. Instruccions de configuració

3.1. Instal·lació de SSD

  1. Gently slide open the dust cover on the top of the docking station.
  2. Align your M.2 NVMe SSD (M Key or B+M Key) with the slot and fully insert it into the M.2 interface. Ensure it is seated firmly.
  3. Repeat for the second SSD if using both bays.
  4. Close the sliding dust cover to protect the internal structure.

Important Note: This dock supports NVMe SSDs ONLY. It does not support SATA or other non-NVMe SSDs. Please verify your SSD type before insertion.

3.2. Connexió d'alimentació

  1. Connect the provided 12V/2A power adapter to the DC 12V port on the back of the docking station.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1. PC Read/Write Mode

This mode allows you to access your NVMe SSDs as external drives on your computer.

  1. Ensure SSDs are installed and power is connected (as per Section 3).
  2. Connect the docking station to your PC using either the 20Gbps USB-C to USB-C cable or the 10Gbps USB-A to USB-C cable. Plug the USB-C end into the dock's USB-C port and the other end into your computer's corresponding USB port.
  3. Flip the ON/OFF switch on the back of the dock to the 'ON' position.
  4. Your computer should detect the SSD(s) automatically. The SSD LED indicator(s) on the dock will light up when successful.
  5. For new SSDs, you may need to initialize and format them through your operating system's Disk Management utility before use.

Note on Speed: The 20Gbps speed is only achievable when connected to a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port. Thunderbolt 3 and USB4 interfaces are generally not compatible with 20Gbps and will operate at 10Gbps.

4.2. Offline Clone Mode

This mode allows you to duplicate an NVMe SSD without connecting to a computer.

  1. Ensure SSDs are installed and power is connected (as per Section 3).
  2. Inseriu el Source NVMe SSD into the 'Source' slot and the Target NVMe SSD into the 'Target' slot.
  3. Crucial: Ensure the data cable (USB-C to PC) is UNPLUGGED from the docking station. Offline cloning requires no PC connection.
  4. Flip the ON/OFF switch on the back of the dock to the 'ON' position.
  5. Wait for the SSD LEDs to illuminate steadily.
  6. Press and hold the 'Clone' button for 3-5 seconds until the progress LEDs (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) begin to flash.
  7. Release the button. The cloning process will start, indicated by the flashing progress LEDs.
  8. Once all four progress LEDs (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) are solid, the cloning process is complete.
  9. Flip the ON/OFF switch to 'OFF' and allow the SSDs to cool down before removal.

Important Cloning Notes:

  • The target drive capacity must be at least equal to or larger than the source drive capacity.
  • Cloning will delete all existing data on the target drive. Ensure you have backed up any important data from the target drive before proceeding.
  • Only NVMe SSDs are supported for cloning. SATA or other protocols are not compatible with the cloning feature.

5. Manteniment

  • Refrigeració: High-performance SSDs can generate heat during intensive operations. The open design of the dock aids in heat dissipation. It is advised to allow SSDs to cool down before handling them after heavy use, especially after cloning or large data transfers.
  • Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the docking station. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents. The sliding dust cover helps protect the internal M.2 interfaces from dust accumulation.
  • Emmagatzematge: Quan no l'utilitzeu, guardeu l'estació d'acoblament en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.

6. Solució De Problemes

  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and the dock is switched 'ON'.
  • Verify the USB data cable is firmly connected to both the dock and the PC.

  • Ensure your SSD(s) are properly seated in their slots.
  • For new SSDs, check Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (macOS) to see if they need initialization and formatting.

  • Verify that both the Source and Target SSDs are NVMe protocol. SATA SSDs are not supported for cloning.

  • Ensure both SSDs are properly inserted and the dock is powered on.
  • Press and hold the 'Clone' button for the specified 3-5 seconds until LEDs flash, then release.

  • NVMe Only: Remember that this device is specifically designed for NVMe SSDs. It will not work with SATA M.2 SSDs for either reading or cloning. Always double-check your SSD type.
  • Cloning Safety: When performing an offline clone, always ensure the USB data cable is disconnected from your PC. This prevents accidental data loss or interference with the cloning process.
  • Target Drive Capacity: For successful cloning, the target NVMe SSD must have a capacity equal to or greater than the source NVMe SSD.
