1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your MOES Brass Water Timer (Model SGW06). This device is designed to automate your watering schedule, offering features like timed watering, rain delay, and child lock for efficient and convenient irrigation.

The water timer is a control component in fluid transportation systems, capable of shut-off, regulation, diversion, backflow prevention, pressure stabilization, and overflow pressure relief. It is suitable for controlling various types of fluids, including water.

2. Safety Warnings and Important Notes

• Do not disassemble, reassemble, modify, or attempt to repair this product yourself. All repairs should be performed by authorized professionals.
• This timer is only suitable for 3/4" thread standards.

5.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

5.2. Installing the Timer

1. Attach the timer to an outdoor hose faucet. Ensure it is a 3/4" thread standard.
2. Hand tighten ONLY. Do not use tools, as this may damage the timer.
3. To prevent leakage, ensure the connection is tight. Add a rubber washer and thread seal tape if necessary.

6. Operation: Automatic Watering Program Setting

The timer features a rotary knob and four buttons (+, -, OK, Zone) for programming.

Nota: If the START TIME is earlier than the current time ("NOW"), the scheduled task will be executed the next day.

6.3. Set How Long (Watering Duration)

1. Gireu el dial a QUANT TEMPS.
2. Press the "ZONE" button to switch between Zone 1 and Zone 2.
3. Press the "+" or "-" buttons to set the watering duration.
4. Use the "OK" button to switch between setting hours and minutes.

Nota: The watering duration can be set from 1 minute to 5 hours and 59 minutes. If "HOW LONG" is set to 0 minutes, the scheduled task will not be executed for that zone.

6.4. Set How Often (Watering Frequency)

1. Gireu el dial a QUANT FREQUENT.
2. Press the "ZONE" button to switch between Zone 1 and Zone 2.
3. Press the "+" or "-" buttons to set the watering frequency in hours or days.
4. Gireu el dial per desar els canvis.

You can choose to water from every 1 to 23 hours, or every 1 to 7 days.

Examples of watering frequencies:

• Every 1 day: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun
• Every 2 days: Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun (or similar pattern)
• Every 3 days: Mon, Thu, Sun (or similar pattern)

6.5. Mode automàtic

1. Gireu el dial a AUTO.
2. The watering plan will be automatically executed based on your programmed settings.
3. The display will show the current day and time, followed by the next watering plan.

Nota: If "HOW LONG" was set to 0 minutes for a zone, the "NEXT" display for that zone will show "OFF".

4. To end manual watering, press the "OK" button again. The timer will switch back to Auto mode, even if watering is still active.

Nota: To manually water only Zone 1, set Zone 2's duration to 0 minutes. To manually water only Zone 2, set Zone 1's duration to 0 minutes.

1. Hold the "+" button for 5 seconds until the rain cloud icon appears on the screen.

The battery status is displayed on the LCD screen:

Important: When the low battery indicator appears, the valve will automatically close to prevent leakage. Replace the batteries immediately to ensure continuous operation.

• When setting watering durations, remember that 0 minutes will disable watering for that zone.
• The rain delay function is useful for conserving water during periods of natural rainfall; remember to save the setting with the "OK" button.

It is recommended to use the original packaging with padding for safe transportation when returning the product for warranty service. If using replacement packaging, ensure adequate protection from damage during shipping. Consider placing a "Warning Glass" sticker on the packaging.

Reported defects covered by the warranty will be processed within 14 days from the date of delivery to the Guarantor. Repairs will be completed within 30 days from the date of delivery to the Guarantor. This deadline may extend if hard-to-find spare parts are required.

La garantia no cobreix:

• Performance of maintenance and similar operations specified in the user manual (users are responsible for these).
• Defects due to natural wear and tear during use.
• Mechanical damage caused by user fault or product defects caused by such damage.

The rights under the guarantee will expire if:

• The warranty seal is removed from the product.
• The serial number is removed from the product.
• Actions are taken to eliminate physical defects outside of authorized service.
• Non-original parts and consumables are used.
