1. Unscrew the screws: Use the provided tool to loosen and remove the screws securing the chain cover.
2. Install the chain and guide plate: Carefully place the chain around the guide plate, ensuring the chain blades are oriented in the correct cutting direction. Then, position the guide plate onto the chainsaw body, aligning it with the drive sprocket.
3. Replace the cover: Place the chain cover back onto the chainsaw body.
4. Tighten the screws: Securely tighten the screws to hold the cover and guide plate in place.
5. Adjust the chain tension: Use the tensioning screw to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled slightly away from the guide bar. It should not sag or be overly tight.

Locate the oil injection device on the chainsaw. Fill it with appropriate chainsaw bar and chain oil. Note that oil is not included with the product and must be purchased separately. Regular lubrication is crucial for chain longevity and cutting performance.
