1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the Protmex 3379C Wireless Weather Station. This device is designed to provide you with real-time indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, and air pressure readings, along with a weather forecast, alarm clock, and other useful features. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new weather station.

3.2 Wireless Outdoor Sensor Features

4. Configuració

4.1 Alimentació de la unitat principal

1. Connect the included power adapter to the DC 5V port on the back of the main unit.

3. (Optional) For backup power, insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit.

4.2 Powering the Wireless Outdoor Sensor

4.3 Emparellament de sensors

Once both the main unit and the sensor are powered, the main unit will automatically search for the wireless sensor. This may take a few minutes. Ensure the sensor is within range (up to 60 meters in an open area) of the main unit. If the outdoor readings do not appear, try the following:

• Press the "CH" button on the main unit to cycle through channels (if multiple sensors are used).
• Press the "RESET" button on both the main unit and the sensor, then re-insert batteries/power to initiate a new pairing process.

• Unitat principal: Place the main unit indoors on a flat surface using its built-in stand, or mount it on a wall. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
• Sensor sense fils: Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and rain to ensure accurate readings. Ensure it is within the wireless transmission range of the main unit.

• **MEM:** View MAX/MIN temperature and humidity records.
• **ALERT:** Set temperature alerts.
• **HISTORY:** View historical barometric pressure data.
• **+ / NAV:** Adjust values during settings, or switch between channels.
• **CH:** Select sensor channel (if multiple sensors are connected).
• **ON/AL/OFF:** Power on/off, activate/deactivate alarm.
• **SNOOZE/LIGHT (Top Button):** Activate snooze during alarm, adjust backlight brightness.

5.2 Configuració de data i hora

Refer to the user manual for specific steps to set the time, date, and 12/24-hour format. Typically, this involves pressing a "SET" or "MODE" button (often combined with NAV or + buttons) to enter setting mode and then using the +/- buttons to adjust values.

5.3 Funció d'alarma i repetició

To set the alarm, use the "AL" or "ON/AL/OFF" button in conjunction with the +/- buttons. When the alarm sounds, touch the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" field or press the "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button to activate snooze mode. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5 minutes.

5.4 Temperature Units (°C/°F)

Press the dedicated °C/°F button (if available) or a combination of buttons (e.g., "MODE" + "+") to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit display.

5.5 Previsió meteorològica

The weather station predicts weather conditions based on changes in barometric pressure. The display will show one of the following icons: Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy, or Snowy. These are predictions and may not always perfectly match actual conditions.

The main unit displays the current barometric pressure. Use the "HISTORY" button to view historical pressure readings, which can help in understanding weather trends.

5.7 Mold Risk Indicator

The weather station provides mold risk levels (LO, ME, HI) for both indoor and outdoor environments based on humidity levels. This feature helps you monitor conditions that could lead to mold growth.

5.8 Indicador del nivell de confort

The display shows a comfort level indicator (e.g., happy, neutral, sad faces) based on indoor temperature and humidity, ranging from comfortable to too cold or too hot. Temperature trend arrows indicate whether it's getting warmer or colder near the remote sensor.

5.9 port de càrrega USB

The main unit includes a USB charging port (5V, 1A) that allows you to charge compatible mobile devices. Simply plug your device's USB charging cable into the port on the side of the weather station.

6. Manteniment

• Clean the main unit and sensor with a soft, damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents.
• Avoid exposing the main unit to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or moisture.
• Ensure the outdoor sensor is protected from heavy rain and direct sunlight for optimal performance and longevity.
• Replace batteries in both units when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure continuous operation and accurate readings.

• For best accuracy, place the outdoor sensor in a location that is well-ventilated but shielded from direct sun and rain.
• If using multiple outdoor sensors (up to 3 supported), ensure each is set to a different channel to avoid interference.
• The weather forecast function requires some time to calibrate to your local barometric pressure patterns. Allow 24-48 hours for it to become more accurate.
• When setting the alarm, remember to activate it using the ON/AL/OFF switch.
• The USB charging port is convenient for overnight charging of small devices, but note it is 5V, 1A, which may be slower than dedicated fast chargers.
