4. Configuració
4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the CP024 unit.

4.2 Connecting to an Oscilloscope
- Ensure your oscilloscope is powered off.

- Power on your oscilloscope.
- Adjust the oscilloscope's input settings (e.g., vertical scale) according to the probe's sensitivity (e.g., 1mV/10mA, 1mV/0.1A, 1mV/1A).


5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Powering On and Range Selection
- Slide the power switch to the desired current range (4A, 40A, or 400A). The "POWER" indicator should light up.
- The CP024 features an "Auto Zero" function upon power-on, especially important for DC current measurements.
5.2 Zero Adjustment (for DC measurements)
For accurate DC current measurements, ensure the probe is properly zeroed:
- With the probe powered on and no current flowing through the jaw, press the "ZERO" button.
- Observe the oscilloscope display; the baseline should be at zero volts.
5.3 Prendre mesures

- Carefully place the conductor carrying the current to be measured within the jaw. Ensure the jaw closes completely around a single conductor.
- Release the lever to close the jaw.
- Observe the current waveform on the connected oscilloscope.
- Use the oscilloscope's vertical scale and offset controls to properly display and measure the current. Remember to account for the probe's sensitivity (e.g., if the oscilloscope reads 100mV on the 40A range, the current is 100mV / (1mV/0.1A) = 10A).


6. Manteniment
6.1 Substitució de la bateria
When the "LOW BATTERY" indicator illuminates, replace the 9V battery as soon as possible to ensure accurate measurements. Refer to section 4.1 for battery installation steps.
6.2 Neteja
Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is powered off before cleaning.
6.3 Emmagatzematge
Store the CP024 in its soft bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
7. Solució De Problemes
- Sense alimentació / La unitat no s'encén: Comproveu si la bateria de 9 V està instal·lada correctament i té prou càrrega. Substituïu la bateria si cal.
- Inaccurate DC Readings: Ensure the probe is properly zeroed by pressing the "ZERO" button before measurement, with no current flowing through the jaw.
- No Signal on Oscilloscope:
- Verify the BNC cable is securely connected to both the CP024 and the oscilloscope.
- Check the oscilloscope's input channel settings (e.g., input coupling, vertical scale).
