First of all, please read through all chapters of these operating instructions carefully and check that your JUWEL product is complete. Please observe the safety notices, as well as the maintenance and care recommendations.
We have taken the utmost care in the development of these operating instructions, in order to provide correct and accurate information. However, we cannot assume any liability for possibly existing misprints and errors. Technical specifications are to be understood as approximations. We reserve the right to make technical changes.

The Juwel HeliaLux SmartControl allows you to comfortably program and control your HeliaLux light units via WiFi using your mobile phone, tablet, or PC. It enables precise adjustment of lighting conditions in your aquarium to simulate natural light cycles and create unique underwater atmospheres.

- Day Simulation: Quickly and easily simulate the lighting mood you have set in your aquarium at any time of day.
- Weather Control: Individually programmable cloud effects, including intensity and frequency.
- Pre Liveview: See the light intensity in real-time while creating your lighting program.
- Plug 'n' Play: Pre-programmed daily routine (including lunch break) for quick operation. Factory light profiles are easily adjustable.
- Export/Import Profiles: Easily back up, import, and export defined light profiles.

- Easy Update: Automatic system updates over an existing Internet connection to ensure stability and new features.
4. Configuració i connexió
The HeliaLux SmartControl is designed to control HeliaLux Spectrum light units and can also control HeliaLux LED light units with an optionally available splitter. The splitter allows up to two HeliaLux lamps to be used with one SmartControl.

Follow these steps for connecting your HeliaLux SmartControl:
- Connect the plugs on the HeliaLux SmartControl, any required splitter, and the power supply units and lamps in accordance with the illustration. Ensure the locking rings are screwed completely onto the screw connectors.
- Connect the plug of the power supply unit to the mains and switch on the power supply units.

5. Instruccions de funcionament
The HeliaLux SmartControl is operated via a browser-based user interface on your mobile phone, tablet, or PC connected to its WiFi network.
Tauler de control acabatview:
- Indicador de xarxa: Shows WiFi connection status (WiFi connected, Access Point Mode, Connecting to WiFi).

- Restarting Indicator: Indicates when the device is restarting.

Use the browser interface to:

6. Manteniment
Mode de servei:
To perform maintenance work in your aquarium, activate the Service Mode directly using the control button on the HeliaLux SmartControl. Your HeliaLux will light up at 100% luminosity for 60 minutes, allowing you to work comfortably.
Actualitzacions del sistema:
The system can automatically update over an existing Internet connection. These updates help keep the system stable and deliver new features. Ensure the device is not disconnected from power during an update.
7. Solució De Problemes
If you encounter issues with your HeliaLux SmartControl, consider the following:
- Sense alimentació/dispositiu que no respon: Check all power connections. Ensure the power supply unit is connected to the mains and switched on. If the device is damaged, replace the entire unit.
- Problemes de connexió WiFi: Ensure the SmartControl is in Access Point Mode (long press Mode button for 10 seconds) or connected to your home WiFi network. Check your device's WiFi settings.
