3.1 Parts Identification (TA642A/B)

3.2 Detachable Probe (TA642C)

The TA642C model features a split-type probe with an 8-blade fan design and a 1m flexible stainless handle, connected via a four-hole aviation plug for stable signal transmission.

4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de l'instrument.
2. Insert 3 x 1.5V AA (LR06) batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

Nota: Batteries are not included. The device also supports external power supply via USB.

4.2 Probe Connection (TA642C only)

For the TA642C model, connect the external probe to the main unit using the four-hole aviation plug. Ensure the connection is firm and secure.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Encès/Apagat

• Per encendre, premeu llargament el botó Poder botó.
• Per apagar, premeu llargament la tecla Poder botó de nou.
• The instrument features an automatic power-off function after 15 minutes of inactivity, which can be disabled if desired.

5.2 Measurement Modes and Units

• Premeu el botó MODE button to cycle through different measurement modes (e.g., air velocity, air temperature, air flow).
• Premeu el botó UNIT °C/°F button to switch between different measurement units for air velocity (m/s, ft/min, km/h, mph, knots) and temperature (°C/°F).

5.3 Data Hold, Max/Min, and Zeroing

• Premeu MANTENIM/ZERO per congelar la lectura actual a la pantalla. Premeu de nou per alliberar-la.
• Premeu MAX/MIN a view the maximum or minimum recorded values during a measurement session.

5.4 Data Recording and Storage

• Premeu el botó REC button to start or stop data recording. The device can store up to 1000 groups of data.
• For models TA642B/C, recorded data can be exported to a PC via USB connection.

The anemometer allows setting upper and lower alarm limits. If the measured value exceeds these limits, a buzzer will sound, and the alarm indicator light will flash.

Connect the TA642B or TA642C to a PC using a USB cable. This allows for downloading recorded data, viewing real-time data sheets, and generating charts for analysis.

5.7 VA Color Screen

L'instrument no s'encén:

Comproveu si les piles estan instal·lades correctament i tenen prou càrrega. Canvieu les piles si cal.

Lectures inexactes:

Ensure the fan blades are clean and unobstructed. Verify that the probe (TA642C) is securely connected. Check for stable environmental conditions.

USB connection not working (TA642B/C):

Ensure the USB cable is properly connected to both the anemometer and the PC. Check if the necessary drivers are installed on your computer.

L'alarma no sona:

Verify that the alarm limits are set correctly and that the measured value is indeed outside these limits.
