Follow these steps to set up your RainPoint WiFi Water Timer system:

Step 1: Install the RainPoint App

1. Download the "RainPoint" App from Google Play Store (for Android) or Apple App Store (for iOS). You can also scan the QR codes provided in the installation image below.
2. Register your RainPoint account: Open the app, select "Set Up", and follow the prompts to register using your email or mobile number.

Nota:

• Ensure your country/region details are correct during registration for accurate weather information.
• The system connects exclusively to 2.4GHz WiFi. If you have a dual-band router, ensure the 2.4GHz band is enabled and named separately from the 5GHz band.

Step 2: Connect the Smart Hub

3. Plug the Smart Hub (TWG004WRF) into a standard electrical outlet indoors, within range of your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
4. The Power Indicator LED on the hub should light up. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the hub with your RainPoint account.

Step 3: Install the Water Timer

5. Insert batteries into the Water Timer (TTV103WRF) battery compartment.
6. Attach the Water Timer to your outdoor faucet. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
7. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the Water Timer with the Smart Hub. The hub communicates with the timer using 433RF technology.

The RainPoint app allows you to manage your watering schedule anytime, anywhere. When the sprinkler timer is connected to 2.4GHz WiFi, you can program and manage it via the app (Android, iOS).

Watering Modes and Schedules

The WiFi water timer offers 3 customizable watering programs (P1, P2, P3) and 2 watering modes: Irrigation Mode and Mist Mode.

• Mode de reg: For continuous watering, ideal for lawns and pools. Durations of up to 2 hours are perfect for deep watering.
• Mode de boira: For intermittent watering, perfect for cooling and dust control.

You can set custom start times, durations (from 1 minute to 11 hours 59 minutes), and watering frequencies (Monday to Sunday) for each program.

Intelligent Weather Response (Rain Delay)

The water timer automatically adjusts watering schedules based on local weather conditions. It can delay watering for 24, 48, or 72 hours when it rains, according to your manual settings or by syncing with local weather forecasts.

Smart Soil Moisture Management (Optional)

When paired with a RainPoint WiFi soil sensor (model TCS005FRF, sold separately), the watering timer adjusts its schedule based on real-time soil moisture levels, ensuring optimal moisture without overwatering.

Volume-Based Control

Program the smart hose timer to water a specific volume (e.g., 8 gallons for a vegetable garden) for precise irrigation needs.

Multi-Device Management and Voice Control

• One Smart Hub can pair with a maximum of 4 WiFi water timers (1-Zone or 2-Zone).
• The Smart Hub also functions as a smart plug for other devices.
• The system is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice control.
• Co-management with family: Add family members to the app to share irrigation management.

The app provides real-time updates on irrigation status and allows you to monitor water usage. A built-in flow meter tracks water usage for the last 10 days, helping you save water and reduce bills. The system also features low battery and water leak alarms.

  • Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. The system is not compatible with 5GHz WiFi.
  • Check if the Smart Hub is powered on and its Power Indicator is active.
  • Verify the Water Timer has fresh batteries.
  • Make sure the Smart Hub and Water Timer are within effective range of each other and your WiFi router.
