4. Configuració

4.1. Càrrega inicial

Before first use, fully charge your R36MAX console. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the console's charging port and a compatible 5V1.5-2A USB power adapter (not included). The red light on the console indicates charging. The light will automatically turn off when fully charged. Avoid pressing the restart button during charging. Do not use chargers exceeding 5V2A.

4.2. Inserting TF Cards

Ensure the console is powered off before inserting or removing TF cards. Insert the game TF card into the TF-(game) slot and the OS TF card into the TF1-OS slot.

5.1. Encendre/apagar

• Encès: Press and hold the Power Button for approximately five seconds. Wait patiently for about 20 seconds for the console to boot into the operation interface.
• Apagar: Press and hold the Power Button for seven seconds. A shutdown menu will appear. Select "Shutdown Program" and press the A button to confirm. It is recommended to exit any running games before shutting down.

5.2. Function Shortcut Key Combinations

These combinations provide quick access to various functions:

• Display Full Screen: Press the Right Joystick.

5.5. Unlock Child Mode

From the main menu, press START, select "UNLOCK USER INTERFACE MODE", press A, and then input the sequence AAABA to unlock.

Display Ratio Options:

• X/Y: Select based on screen resolution. For example, a 720x720 resolution is a 1:1 ratio. Setting "Game Display Ratio" to 1:1 will generally display games full screen (some games may have inherent black borders).
• CORE PROVDEO: This uses the default resolution of the emulator core, corresponding to the original game model's resolution. This setting ensures the game screen is displayed according to its original scale without deformation. For instance, arcade vertical shooting games displayed horizontally in X/Y mode might be severely stretched, but CORE PROVDEO maintains the original aspect ratio. This is also beneficial for GB and GBC games to prevent severe deformation.

5.9. Adding Games to Favorites

In the game list, select the game you wish to favorite. Press and hold the A button. A menu will pop up. Select "Add to Favorites" and press A to confirm. The game will then appear in your favorites list.

Press the START key to open the selection menu. Select System Settings > Brightness. Use the Left key on the D-Pad to decrease brightness and the Right key to increase brightness.

6. Adding Games

To add new games to your console:

1. Insert the game TF card into your computer.
2. Access the disk named "EEROMS".
3. Place your downloaded game ROMs into the corresponding emulator folder (e.g., MAME games into the MAME folder).
4. (Optional) For game images/screenshots to appear, place them into the `media/screenshot` folder.
5. Localitza el file named `game list.xml`. You can open it with a text editor (like Notepad).
6. Simulate the existing game information format and add the newly added game's details to the list.
7. Save the `game list.xml` file.
8. Safely eject the TF card from your computer.
9. Insert the TF card back into the console and power it on. The newly added games should now appear.

Note: If your computer does not show the "EEROMS" disk, go to "This PC" (or "My Computer"), right-click, select "Manage", then "Disk Management". Scroll down to locate the TF card, right-click it, and assign it a drive letter.

7.1. Game Not Running / Emulator Core Issues

If a game fails to run, it might be due to the emulator core not supporting that specific game. You can try changing the emulator core:

1. In the game list, select the game with the error.
2. Press and hold the "A" key.
3. Select "Advanced Game Options" (the second to last item).
4. Try changing the first item, "Simulator", to a different core.

If all available cores fail to run the game, there might be an issue with the game ROM itself.

7.2. N64 Games Not Appearing

If N64 games are not visible, ensure they are placed in the correct emulator folder on the TF card. If they are, try the emulator core switching method described above, as some N64 games may require a specific core to run or be displayed correctly.

7.3. FDS Game Side B Setting

Some FDS games require setting up Side B before starting. If prompted to set up Side B when opening an FDS game, press L1 to set it, and the game should load normally.

7.4. Global, Simulator, and Individual Game Settings

The console offers three levels of settings:
