1. Introducció

The TASI TA804A and TA804B are advanced, ultrathin digital multimeters designed for accurate and reliable electrical measurements. They are capable of measuring AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance (TA804B only), frequency, diode, and continuity, along with non-contact voltage (NCV) detection and live wire identification. The TA804B model offers additional manual operation capabilities and a VA color screen.

5.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1. Encendre/apagar

Press the power button (⏻) to turn the multimeter on. Press and hold the power button to turn it off. The device features an automatic shut-down function to conserve battery life, which can be manually cancelled if needed.

6.2. Automatic/Manual Mode (TA804B Only)

The TA804B model supports both automatic and manual measurement modes. Press the 'SMART FUNC' button to switch between these modes. In automatic mode, the multimeter intelligently identifies the measurement type (voltage, resistance, continuity) and selects the appropriate range. In manual mode, you can select specific functions.

1. Connect the red test lead to the 'INPUT' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.
2. Power on the multimeter. The device will automatically enter voltage measurement mode (or select it manually on TA804B).
3. Place the test probes across the circuit or component you wish to measure.

3. The device will indicate the presence of AC voltage through a buzzer and an analog bar display on the screen. The number of segments on the bar will increase with stronger signals.

6.6. Live Wire Identification

1. Press the 'Live NCV' button to activate Live Wire mode.
2. Insert the red test probe into the live wire socket or touch it to the live wire.
3. The display will show 'Live' or a similar indication, and the analog bar will light up.
4. When testing the null wire, the display will show 'Null' or no indication.
