4.1 Ajust de la distància interpupil·lar (DPI)

The interpupillary distance is the distance between the centers of your pupils. To set the correct IPD:

  1. Hold the binoculars up to your eyes and look through them at a distant object.
  2. Move the two halves of the binoculars closer together or further apart until you see a single, clear circular field of view.
  3. Note this setting for future use.

To achieve a sharp image:

  1. First, close your right eye and look through the left eyepiece at a distant object. Rotate the large central focus wheel until the image is sharp.
  2. Next, close your left eye and look through the right eyepiece. Rotate the diopter adjustment ring (located on the right eyepiece) until the image is sharp.
  3. Ara, amb els dos ulls oberts, la imatge hauria d'estar enfocada. Per a les següents viewing, you will only need to use the central focus wheel to adjust for different distances.

The SkyMaster PRO binoculars feature twist-up eyecups. If you wear eyeglasses, twist the eyecups down to their lowest position to see the full field of view. If you do not wear eyeglasses, twist the eyecups up to the desired height for comfortable viewing.

5.2 Observació

Once the IPD and focus are set, you are ready to observe. Point the binoculars at your desired object and use the central focus wheel to fine-tune the image sharpness. The large objective lenses are particularly effective in low-light conditions, making them ideal for dawn, dusk, and nighttime astronomical viewing.

6. Manteniment i cura

6.1 Neteja de les lents

Handle your binoculars with care to avoid scratching the lenses. Use the included lens cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optics. For stubborn smudges, use a small amount of optical cleaning fluid applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.

Precaució:

  • Do not use abrasive cloths, paper towels, or facial tissues, as these can scratch lens coatings.
  • Avoid excessive rubbing.
  • Never attempt to disassemble the binoculars for cleaning.

6.2 Neteja del cos

The rubber armored body can be wiped clean with a soft, damp tela. Eviteu utilitzar productes químics o dissolvents aggressivs.

6.3 Emmagatzematge

When not in use, store your binoculars in the included carrying case to protect them from dust, moisture, and impacts. Keep the objective lens caps and rainguard on the binoculars. Store in a cool, dry place.

6.4 Waterproof and Fogproof

The SkyMaster PRO binoculars are waterproof and nitrogen purged, meaning they are sealed against moisture and internal fogging. While they can withstand exposure to rain and damp conditions, they are not designed for submersion.

7. Solució De Problemes

7.1 Image is blurry or out of focus.

  • Ensure you have correctly adjusted the interpupillary distance (IPD).
  • Re-perform the focusing procedure: first focus the left eye with the central wheel, then the right eye with the diopter adjustment ring.
  • Check that the objective lens caps are fully removed.

7.2 Cannot achieve a single circular field of view.

  • Adjust the interpupillary distance (IPD) by moving the barrels closer or further apart until the two images merge into one circle.

7.3 Internal fogging.

  • While the binoculars are nitrogen purged to prevent internal fogging, extreme temperature changes or damage to the seals could potentially cause it. If fogging persists, contact customer support.

7.4 Image appears dim.

  • Ensure the objective lenses are clean and free of smudges or dust.
  • Verify that you are observing in conditions suitable for the binoculars' light-gathering capabilities. While excellent in low light, they still require some ambient light.
