The BENETECH GM63A is a portable, compact digital vibration analyzer designed for measuring acceleration, velocity, and displacement. It features a high-sensitivity probe for accurate measurements and a clear LCD backlight display for easy reading in various conditions. This device is ideal for monitoring equipment status and performing fault detection.

2. Configuració

2.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

  1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del dispositiu (vegeu la Figura 3).
  2. Obriu la tapa de la bateria.
  3. Insert a 9V alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Tanqueu la tapa de la bateria amb seguretat.

2.2 Adjunt de la sonda

The GM63A comes with different probe heads suitable for various measurement situations. Select the appropriate probe and securely attach it to the device's sensor tip.

  • Sonda curta: Suitable for vibration measurement in a wide range, providing good response values.
  • Sonda llarga: Primarily used for measurements in narrow or special object areas where fast response is needed.
  • Direct Measurement: For flat object surface measurements, stable data can be obtained without a hardware probe.

3. Instruccions de funcionament

3.1 Encès/Apagat

Premeu el botó 'MEAS/ON' button to turn the device on or off. The device features an auto power-off function, turning off automatically after 60 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

3.2 Measurement Mode Selection

Premeu el botó 'A/V/D' button to cycle through the measurement modes: Acceleration, Velocity, and Displacement. The selected mode will be indicated on the LCD display.

3.3 Frequency Characteristic Selection (for Acceleration)

When in Acceleration mode, press the 'LO/HI' button to select the desired frequency range:

  • LO (Low Frequency): 10 Hz ~ 1 KHz
  • HI (High Frequency): 1 KHz ~ 15 KHz

3.4 Prendre mesures

  1. Ensure the correct probe is attached and the desired measurement mode (A/V/D) and frequency range (LO/HI for acceleration) are selected.
  2. Place the probe firmly against the object or surface to be measured.
  3. Premeu el botó 'MEAS/ON' button to initiate measurement. The current vibration value will be displayed on the LCD.

3.5 AC Signal Output

The device is equipped with an AC signal output interface. This allows for connecting external devices such as earphones or data recorders. The AC output is 2V peak (full scale) with a load impedance of 10KΩ or more.

3.6 Retroil·luminació LCD

The LCD features a backlight function for improved visibility in low-light conditions. This ensures that measurement data can be easily read during dark field maintenance.

3.7 Funció de llanterna

The GM63A includes a flashlight feature to assist in illuminating the measurement area, enhancing safety and accuracy in dark environments.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Neteja

Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the probe tip clean and free from debris to ensure accurate readings.

4.2 Emmagatzematge

When not in use, store the GM63A in its carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove the battery if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

4.3 Substitució de la bateria

The device will indicate low power on the display. Replace the 9V alkaline battery promptly when the low battery indicator appears to ensure continuous and accurate operation.

5. Solució De Problemes

  • El dispositiu no s'encén: Comproveu si la bateria de 9 V està instal·lada correctament i té prou càrrega. Substituïu la bateria si cal.
  • Lectures inexactes: Ensure the probe is securely attached and making good contact with the surface. Verify that the correct measurement mode and frequency range are selected. Clean the probe tip if dirty.
  • Auto power-off occurs too frequently: This is a normal function (60 seconds of inactivity). If it occurs during active use, check the battery level.
