2. Compatible Models and System Check
This unit is specifically designed for Right-hand Driving BMW vehicles with the NBT system. Please verify your vehicle's compatibility before installation.
Applicable Models & Years:
- For BMW 3 Series F30 F31 F34 F35 (2013-2016) - Right-hand Driving Vehicles
- For BMW 4 Series F32 F33 F36 (2013-2016) - Right-hand Driving Vehicles
- For BMW M3 F80 F81 (2014-2016) - Right-hand Driving Vehicles

Nota important:
This unit ONLY works with the original 3 Series F30 F31 F34 F35 / 4 Series F32 F33 F36 / M3 F80 F81 / M4 F82 F83 Right-hand Driving Vehicles NBT system.
How to check if your original system is NBT or NBT EVO:

NBT System Identification:
- A 6-pin LVDS port at the rear of the unit.
- A "MEDIA" button on the iDrive controller or a touch pad iDrive controller.
- A "Car ConnectedDrive" interface.
Nota:
The presence of a "MEDIA" button or a "Car ConnectedDrive" interface does not guarantee that you have the NBT system. Always check for the 6-pin LVDS port.
NBT EVO System Identification (Not Compatible):
This unit is NOT compatible with NBT EVO systems. If your car comes with NBT EVO, you will need a different unit (e.g., QLB42THEVL for left-hand driving cars or QLB22EVB12THR for right-hand driving cars).
- A 4-pin LVDS port.
- "NBTevo_xxxx" and "Automatic map update" shown on version info.
- An "iDrive" or "ID6" interface.
Important Notes on Compatibility (AUX Input):
If your car comes with NO audio AUX input, you need to order an FM transmitter to aid for the installation. XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible. Connect the XTRONS unit to your car's AUX input for audio functionality. Ensure AUX is enabled to enjoy the full audio experience with our head unit.

- Fix the clips (marked '2' in diagram) on the Plastic Bracket to the Main unit.
- Fix the clips (marked '3' in diagram) on the Main unit to the Plastic Bracket.
