The JIKONG JK BMS B2A24S20P is an intelligent battery protection board designed for large capacity series lithium battery packs. It offers comprehensive management features including voltage acquisition, high current active balancing, overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, over-temperature protection, coulomb metering, Bluetooth communication, and optional GPS remote functionality. This BMS is suitable for LiFePO4, ternary lithium, and LTO battery types.

Handle the packing box and the protection board gently. Before unpacking, check for any signs of impact or damage. The JK-BxAxxS-15P/20P series protection board is suitable for 7-24 series lithium battery packs. The specific wiring method varies depending on the number of cells in the battery pack.

3. Funcionament
3.1. APP Installation and Device Activation
The JIKONG BMS comes with a mobile APP for Android and iOS. To install the APP, scan the QR code below. Android Version 7 or higher is required.

The protection board does not have a power-on control switch. It is designed for charging activation. After assembling the battery, connect the charger (charger voltage ha de ser 2 V superior al volum de la bateriatage) to activate the BMS. Alternatively, if you have an optional display screen and button, you can activate the BMS by inserting the cable into the display interface and pressing the button.3.2. Active Equalization
The BMS utilizes active equalization technology to transfer energy from higher voltage cells to lower voltage cells, ensuring voltage balance with minimal energy loss. The continuous balance current is 1A/2A.
To use the balancing function, set the battery parameters in the APP. After selecting the battery type, configure the number of cells, battery capacity, trigger equalization differential pressure (default is usually fine), voltagcalibratge electrònic i calibratge actual.
You can set the balance trigger pressure difference (mV) via the APP. When balancing is enabled, it activates automatically if the voltage difference between any two battery strings exceeds the set value, and deactivates when it falls below the set value. It is recommended that the balance current does not exceed 0.2C of the battery capacity. If not needed, the balancing function can be turned off in the BMS control page of the APP.

3.3. Multi-screen Display and Data Connection
The JIKONG BMS supports multi-screen display and data connection, allowing you to monitor battery information through various interfaces:

3.4. Funció de calefacció
The BMS supports an optional heating function to warm the battery at low temperatures using a resistance heater or heating film. This prevents charging/discharging issues due to reduced battery activity in cold conditions. The designed heating current is 4A.
You can enable/disable this function via the APP's BMS control page based on ambient temperature. It is recommended to use a temperature control switch (45°C to 65°C normally closed type) in series with the heating circuit as a secondary protection to prevent thermal runaway.3.5. Communication and GPS
The BMS supports optional CAN/RS485 communication. You can select CAN or RS485 for multiplexed ports on the APP's BMS control page. Address and communication protocols can be configured as needed. The BMS also reserves a GPS port for optional GPS devices, allowing for battery location tracking.
4. Maintenance and Protection Functions
The JIKONG BMS provides comprehensive protection features to ensure the safety and longevity of your battery pack. These functions are standard and can be configured via the APP.

4.1. Sobrevoltage Protection (Charge)
The BMS includes charge overvoltage protection. You can set the single cell overcharge protection voltage and recovery voltage in the APP. If any cell's voltage exceeds the set overvoltage protection during charging, the BMS will stop charging. Charging resumes when all cell voltages drop below the recovery voltage.4.2. Undervoltage Protection (Discharge)

The BMS features charge and discharge overcurrent protection. You can set the continuous current, overcurrent delay, and overcurrent release time in the APP. If the current exceeds the set continuous current for the specified delay time, the BMS will trigger protection and stop charging/discharging. Operation resumes after the overcurrent release time. Note: The maximum continuous discharge current cannot exceed the nominal current (150A/200A).4.4. Over-temperature Protection
Charge and discharge over-temperature protection is included. Set the over-temperature protection and recovery temperatures in the APP. If the BMS detects a temperature above the set protection value, it will stop charging/discharging. Operation resumes when the temperature drops below the recovery value.4.5. Low Temperature Protection (Charge)
Charge low temperature protection is standard. Set the low temperature protection and recovery temperatures in the APP. If the BMS detects a temperature below the set protection value, it will stop charging. Charging resumes when the temperature rises above the recovery value. For extremely cold areas, using the heating function is recommended.4.6. Short Circuit Protection
Short circuit protection is standard. You can set the short circuit protection delay (µs) and recovery time (S) in the APP. If a short circuit occurs during charging or discharge, the BMS will activate protection. If the protection is triggered upon initial connection of a charger or load, increasing the delay time might resolve it, especially if large capacitors in the load cause high instantaneous currents.4.7. Discharge Precharge Function
The BMS includes a discharge precharge function, with a default precharge time of 5 seconds. This can be enabled or disabled via the APP. Setting the precharge time to 0 disables the function.4.8. Emergency Switch
A standard emergency switch function is available. If issues like over-temperature, over-discharge, over-charge, or cell string drops occur during normal use, activating the emergency switch in the APP's BMS control page will allow the BMS to continue charging/discharging for 30 minutes. This provides an emergency usage period, preventing situations like being stranded on the road.4.9. Intelligent Sleep
The intelligent sleep function is standard. You can enable or disable it in the APP. Its purpose is to reduce the BMS's self-consumption by closing the protection board when it's in standby (charging/discharging current less than 1A for 26 consecutive hours). To reactivate, press a button or connect a charger.

If you encounter issues with your JIKONG BMS, consider the following:
- Charging/Discharging Stops: Check the APP for active protection alerts (e.g., overvoltage, minvartage, overcurrent, over-temperature). Address the root cause (e.g., adjust charging parameters, reduce load, allow cooling).

- Lectures inexactes: Realitzar voltage and current calibration via the APP if readings appear incorrect.
