  3. SRAM 12-speed cassettes: An XDR freehub (sold separately) is required. Replace the default HG hub with the XDR freehub before installing the SRAM 12-speed cassette.

Consell:

  • Use cassette tools to firmly lock the cassette after it's fully seated.

3.3 Precautions and Disclaimer for Bike Installation

  1. Identify your bike's frame type (thru-axle or quick release) before installation. Refer to the relevant sections below for specific instructions.
  2. For hydraulic disc brakes, insert the provided pad spacer between the brake pads after removing the rear wheel. This prevents the caliper from closing accidentally. If the included spacer is incompatible, use your own.

Connexió de senyalPedal to generate power for wireless connection. After stopping, power lasts for 1-2 minutes.Sempre a punt per connectar-se a BLE i ANT.
Suport de simulacióNo s'admet la simulació d'inèrcia en baixada ni en volant d'inèrcia.Admet la simulació d'inèrcia de baixada i del volant d'inèrcia.

4.3 Indicador

The indicator light on the R200 shows its operational status:

  • Blau intermitent: BLE not connected.
  • Blau sòlid: BLE connected.
  • Vermell intermitent: Overheating protection activated. Stop riding or reduce intensity. If the indicator does not return to normal, contact customer service.
  • Vermell sòlid: Fault detected. Stop riding and contact customer service.

4.4 Application (CYCPLUS App)

  1. Descarrega l'aplicació: Download the "CYCPLUS" App from the App Store or Google Play to access settings and firmware updates.
  2. No Calibration Needed: The R200 is a direct-drive trainer and does not require calibration.
  3. Connecting via BLE or ANT+: The R200 supports both BLE and ANT+. For a more stable connection, BLE is recommended. For ANT+, place the receiver close to the R200's indicator.

Figure 4.4.1: Smart Connectivity. The image shows the R200 connected to a phone displaying the CYCPLUS app interface, with ANT+ and BLE icons.

    Important:

    • Only one cycling app can be connected at a time. Do not use a bike computer while connected to an app on your phone or computer.
  4. Troubleshooting (Can't find the trainer):
    1. Desconnecta l'entrenador durant 5 minuts.
    2. Open the CYCPLUS app, go to settings, and disconnect any devices.

    Recordatori:

    • If the trainer stays connected to other devices, close all cycling apps and remove the trainer (R200 XXXXX) from your paired BLE devices.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Spacers for Noise and Friction

The R200 includes various spacers to help optimize performance and prevent issues like chain noise or disc brake friction. These adjustments are typically made during initial setup or if issues arise.

Screenshot of the CYCPLUS app showing various adjustable parameters like rider weight, bicycle weight, and chain ratio coefficient.
Figure 5.1.1: Precision Fit, Every Time. The app allows customization of key ride parameters for optimal performance.
  1. Cassette Adjustment Spacer (for loud chain noise): If chain noise is excessive, it may be due to a difference in distance between the R200 cassette and the rear fork (A) compared to your original cassette and rear fork (B). Two spacers are pre-installed between the cassette and the Thru-axle adapter-R or Quick release adapter-R.
    • If A < B: Add more cassette adjustment spacers to the R200. Each spacer is approximately 0.4mm thick.
    • If A > B: Remove some spacers to reduce the distance.
    • If issues persist after adjusting all spacers, contact customer service.
  2. Disc Brake Spacer (for friction): If friction occurs between your bike's disc brake and the R200 housing, use disc brake spacers to increase the distance and avoid friction during training. This typically occurs with SRAM 140mm disc brakes.

For more detailed official videos on spacer adjustments, visit the CYCPLUS YouTube channel or contact customer service.

6. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter issues with your CYCPLUS R200 Smart Bike Trainer, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Trainer Not Found by App:
    1. Desconnecta l'entrenador durant 5 minuts.
    2. Open the CYCPLUS app, navigate to settings, and disconnect any previously paired devices.
    3. If the trainer remains connected to other devices, close all cycling apps and remove the trainer (e.g., "R200 XXXXX") from your paired BLE devices.
  • Protecció contra el sobreescalfament: If the indicator light is flashing red, the trainer has activated overheating protection. Stop riding or reduce your power output. If the light does not return to normal (solid blue), contact customer service.
  • Error detectat: If the indicator light is solid red, a fault has been detected. Stop riding immediately and contact customer service.
  • Soroll de cadena: Refer to Section 5.1 on "Cassette Adjustment Spacer" to address loud chain noise by adjusting or adding spacers.
  • Disc Brake Friction: Refer to Section 5.1 on "Disc Brake Spacer" to resolve friction between your bike's disc brake and the trainer housing.
  • Unstable Trainer: Ensure the footpads are properly adjusted and locked to provide a stable base for the trainer (refer to Section 3.1, Step 4).

8. Consells d'usuari

  • Connexió d'alimentació: The R200 can operate in an unplugged mode, generating its own power for wireless connection. However, for high-intensity training and optimal performance, it is recommended to use the included AC adapter to ensure continuous power and fan operation for heat dissipation.
  • Bike Compatibility: Always double-check your bike's axle type (thru-axle or quick release) and dimensions (e.g., 135mm axle) against the trainer's specifications before installation. Ensure you have the correct adapters and spacers for a secure fit.
  • Disc Brake Clearance: If your bike has disc brakes, use the provided disc brake pad spacer to prevent friction between the brake and the trainer housing. This is particularly important for SRAM 140mm disc brakes.

9. Garantia i Suport

Garantia: The CYCPLUS R200 Smart Bike Trainer comes with a 2-year warranty for non-user-induced damage. During this period, free repair or replacement will be provided.
