1. Introducció
The Neoteck 9999 counts Digital Multimeter is a pocket-sized, 3 9/10-bit automatic digital instrument designed for stable performance, high precision, and reliability. It features clear readings and built-in overload protection. Powered by AAA 1.5V batteries, it utilizes a large-screen LCD display with a bright backlight, ensuring readability even in low light conditions. The backlight automatically turns off after 15 seconds to conserve power.

3. Informació de seguretat
WARNING: To avoid possible electric shock or personal injury, and to avoid possible damage to the meter or to the equipment under test, follow these safety rules:
- Always ensure the meter is in the correct function and range for the measurement.

4. Configuració
4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria
The multimeter requires two 1.5V AAA batteries. To install or replace batteries:
- Assegureu-vos que el multímetre estigui APAGAT.
- Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del dispositiu.
- Descargoleu la tapa de la bateria i traieu-la.
- Introduïu les dues piles AAA, observant la polaritat correcta (+ i -) tal com s'indica a l'interior del compartiment.
- Substituïu la tapa de la bateria i fixeu-la amb el cargol.
4.2 Connexió dels cables de prova
Always connect the test leads correctly for accurate and safe measurements:
- Inseriu el cable de prova negre a la presa d'entrada 'COM' (comú).
- Per a la majoria de volumstage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode, and continuity measurements, insert the red test lead into the 'VΩHz' input jack.
- For current measurements (mA/A), insert the red test lead into the 'mA' or '10A' input jack, depending on the expected current value.
- For temperature measurements, connect the temperature probe to the appropriate input jacks (usually 'VΩHz' and 'COM' or dedicated temperature ports if available).
5. Instruccions de funcionament
This multimeter features an auto-ranging function, simplifying operation by automatically selecting the appropriate measurement range. It also includes a large, inverted black EBTN display for excellent readability in various lighting conditions, complemented by a backlight and a built-in flashlight.

5.1 Power On/Off and Display Features
- Encès: Rotate the central dial from 'OFF' to any desired measurement function.
- Apagar: Rotate the central dial back to 'OFF'.

5.2 Mesura de vol DC/ACtage
- Rotate the dial to the 'V' position. The meter will automatically detect DC or AC voltage.
- Connect the red test lead to the 'VΩHz' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.
- Connecteu les sondes de prova en paral·lel al circuit o component que voleu mesurar.
- Llegeix el voltage valor a la pantalla.
5.3 Measuring DC/AC Current
- Rotate the dial to the 'mA' or '10A' position, depending on the expected current.
- Connect the red test lead to the 'mA' or '10A' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.
- Open the circuit where you want to measure current and connect the test probes in series with the circuit.

5.4 Mesura de la resistència
- Rotate the dial to the 'Ω' position.
- Connect the red test lead to the 'VΩHz' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.
- Assegureu-vos que el circuit estigui desenergitzat i que tots els condensadors estiguin descarregats.
- Connect the test probes across the component to measure its resistance.

5.5 Mesura de la capacitat
- Rotate the dial to the 'F' (Capacitance) position.
- Connect the red test lead to the 'VΩHz' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.
- Ensure the capacitor is de-energized and discharged before testing.

- Rotate the dial to the 'Hz' position.

5.7 Mesura de la temperatura
- Rotate the dial to the 'TEMP' position.
- Connect the temperature probe to the appropriate input jacks (refer to probe instructions, typically 'VΩHz' and 'COM').
- Place the probe in contact with the object or environment whose temperature you wish to measure.
- Read the temperature value on the display in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

5.8 Prova de díodes
- Rotate the dial to the 'Diode' symbol position.
- Connect the red test lead to the 'VΩHz' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.
- Connecteu la sonda vermella a l'ànode i la sonda negra al càtode del díode. Un voltatge directetage drop (typically 0.15V-3V for silicon diodes) will be displayed.

5.9 Prova de continuïtat
- Rotate the dial to the 'Continuity' symbol position.
- Connect the red test lead to the 'VΩHz' jack and the black test lead to the 'COM' jack.

5.10 Vol. sense contactetagFunció e (NCV)
- Gireu el dial a la posició 'NCV'.
- Move the top end of the multimeter close to the conductor or electrical outlet.
- The meter will detect AC voltage without physical contact. The display will show flickering lines and an audible alarm will sound, with the frequency of flickers and beeps increasing with voltage força.
- 4 short line flickers indicate high voltage, while 1 short line flicker indicates low voltage.

5.11 True RMS Testing
This multimeter features True RMS measurement, which provides accurate readings for both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal AC waveforms. This is crucial for precise measurements in modern electronic circuits where waveforms are often distorted.

6. Manteniment
6.1 Neteja
Netegeu el cas amb l'anunciamp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents. Periodically clean the terminals with a cotton swab and alcohol.
6.2 Substitució de la bateria
Quan aparegui l'indicador de bateria baixa a la pantalla, substituïu les piles immediatament per garantir lectures precises. Consulteu la secció 4.1 per obtenir instruccions d'instal·lació de la bateria.
6.3 Emmagatzematge
If the meter is not to be used for a long period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the device. Store the multimeter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Solució De Problemes
- Sense pantalla/Pantalla tènue: Comproveu la instal·lació de la bateria i el nivell de càrrega. Canvieu les bateries si cal.
- Lectures incorrectes: Ensure test leads are properly connected to the correct input jacks and the rotary switch is set to the appropriate function and range. Check for damaged test leads.
- Pantalla 'OL' (sobrecàrrega): The measured value exceeds the selected range. For auto-ranging meters, this indicates the value is beyond the meter's maximum capability for that function.
- Sense bip de continuïtat: Check if the circuit is de-energized. Ensure test leads are making good contact. The resistance might be too high for the continuity threshold.

9. Consells d'usuari
- For stable readings, especially with capacitance, ensure the component is fully discharged before connecting the probes.
- When measuring low currents, use the mA range first and switch to the 10A range only if the reading exceeds the mA range to protect the meter's fuse.
- The auto-ranging feature is convenient, but for very fast or fluctuating signals, manually selecting a range (if available) might provide a more stable reading.
