5. Configuració
5.1 Connexió inicial de la bateria
For the first use, you need to connect the internal battery. Follow these steps:
- Open the side panel of the generator.
- Remove the protective cover from the battery plug.
- Connect the battery plug securely.
Avís:
- For long-term storage (over 1 month), disconnect the battery connection cable to prevent the battery from draining.
- The generator is equipped with a battery charging feature. Once the engine is running, the battery will be recharged slowly by the generator.
5.2 Afegir oli de motor
IMPORTANT: Do not pull the recoil rope to start the generator without first refilling the engine oil. Operating the generator without oil can cause permanent damage to internal engine components and void the warranty.
Refer to the 'Specifications' section for the recommended oil type (SAE 10W-30) and capacity (450ML). Use the provided oil funnel to add oil to the engine.
5.3 Fueling the Generator
The MXR4000GT is a dual-fuel generator, capable of running on either gasoline or LPG (Propane).
- Gasolina: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. The fuel tank capacity is 4L.
- LPG (Propane): Connect an LPG tank to the generator's LPG inlet using the provided Pressure Relief Valve Kit. Ensure the connection is tight and secure.

7. Manteniment
7.1 Càrrega de la bateria
If the generator's internal battery is drained and prevents electric start, use the provided battery charger to recharge it. Connect the charger to the generator's battery charging interface.
If the internal battery is damaged, you can still use the battery interface to supply power to the starting module for electric start.
7.2 Air Cleaner Maintenance
- Clean the air filter element every 50 hours or every 3 months (more frequently in dusty conditions).
- Replace the air filter element every 200 hours or every year.
- Do not run the engine without the air filter element. Operating the generator without it will damage the engine and void the warranty.

Regularly check the oil level and change the engine oil according to the maintenance schedule in the full owner's manual. Use SAE 10W-30 oil.
