1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your EARU Three Phase Tuya WiFi Smart Bi-Directional Energy Meter with 3 CT Clamps and integrated Leakage, Over/Under Voltage Protector, and Relay Switch Limit. This device is designed for precise energy monitoring and protection in three-phase electrical systems, offering smart control and data access via WiFi.

2. Informació de seguretat

  • La instal·lació i el manteniment només han de ser realitzats per electricistes qualificats.
  • ALWAYS turn off the main power supply before installing or servicing the device to prevent electric shock.
  • This product does not have an isolation function. Ensure power is off before any repairs.
  • The neutral wire (N) of this product is directly connected without a disconnection function.
  • The device must be wired according to the markings on the unit.
  • Although this device has protection functions, it cannot replace a normal circuit breaker. Always install a standard circuit breaker upstream for comprehensive protection.
  • Apretar tot clamp screws firmly to avoid damage to the device caused by poor contact.

6. Instal·lació

6.1 Muntatge

The energy meter is designed for 35mm DIN rail installation. Ensure a secure fit within your electrical panel.

6.2 CT Clamp Instal·lació

The Current Transformer (CT) clamps are crucial for current measurement. Each CT clamp has an arrow or 'P1→P2' / 'K→L' marking on its body or a sticker. This indicates the direction of current flow. The CT supports bidirectional sensing. If the current direction is opposite to the CT's marking, the power reading will be negative. Ensure the CT is applied to the correct cable and its direction is consistent with your measurement needs.

6.3 Instruccions de cablejat

Refer to the wiring diagrams below for proper connection. Connect the AC input lines to the appropriate terminals (L1, L2, L3, N) and the CT clamps to the respective phase cables. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

Nota important: A circuit breaker and a shunt trip device are required for the protection functions to operate. These are NOT included in the package and must be purchased separately if needed.

For the protector function with a shunt trip release:

  • Connect the other wire of the shunt trip release to terminal 16 (Normally Open - NO).
  • Connect the neutral wire (N) from the electric meter to the common (COM) terminal 15.
  • Terminal 15 is the common contact (COM). Terminal 16 is the Normally Open (NO) contact, with a maximum load capacity of 5A.

Wiring Instructions for a Three-Phase Circuit Breaker with an Integrated 220V Shunt Trip Release:

Connect one wire of the shunt trip release to the C-phase (Phase C) point of the circuit breaker's output line. WARNING: This wire can only be connected with the circuit breaker output line, not the input line. If connected to the input line, the Shunt Trip Release will be burnt!

7. Funcionament

7.1 Pantalla local

The device features an LCD screen that cycles through various parameters. Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, OK) to view diferents modes de visualització i configuracions.

7.2 App Integration (Tuya Smart / Smart Life)

The meter integrates with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app for remote monitoring and control. Follow these steps to connect your device:

  1. Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app from your app store.

  3. Ensure your device is powered on and in pairing mode (WiFi indicator blinking).
  4. In the app, tap '+' to add a new device. The app should automatically discover the device. If not, select 'Add Manually' and choose 'Breaker' or 'Socket (Wi-Fi)' under Electrical.

7.3 Control de veu

The device supports voice control through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. After linking your Tuya Smart/Smart Life account to your voice assistant, you can use commands like "Alexa/Google, Turn On The Living Room Light" (if connected to a controlled load) or inquire about energy status.

8. Configuració

8.1 Protection and Alarm Settings

The device offers extensive customizable protection settings. These can be configured via the device's buttons or through the Tuya Smart/Smart Life app.

  • Connectivitat Wi-Fi: If you experience issues with the Wi-Fi function, ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz network. Check that the device is in pairing mode (blinking Wi-Fi indicator) and verify your Wi-Fi password in the app.
