Instruccions de configuració

1. Prepare the Memory Card

Insert a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card (minimum 32GB, up to 256GB) into the dash cam's TF card slot. Ensure the card is correctly oriented. It is recommended to format the card before first use via the KAWA AUTO app or the dash cam settings.

Clean the windshield area where you intend to mount the dash cam. Apply the anti-static film to the windshield first, then attach the dash cam's adhesive mount to the film. Download the KAWA AUTO app from your smartphone's app store. Enable Wi-Fi on your phone and connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password can be found in the dash cam settings or user manual). Use the app to access live view, manage settings, and download footage.

The dash cam automatically starts recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on and stops when the ignition is turned off.

Stealth Display™ Icons

The translucent display shows various icons to indicate the dash cam's status:

• WiFi Icon: Turns blue when connected to the KAWA AUTO app.
• G-Sensor Icon: Appears when the G-sensor is triggered, indicating emergency recording is active. The 'REC' background will turn red.
• Parking Mode Icon: Appears when parking monitoring and time-lapse recording are enabled via the app (requires Hardwire Kit).
• Auto Power-off Icon: Appears if the auto power-off function is enabled.

• Recording Pause: Appears when recording is paused.
• TF Card Status Icons:
  • Red 'X': TF Card unavailable, recording paused.

• Live Checking & Take Photos: View viu footage from the dash cam and capture photos directly from the app.
• Check & Downloading Videos: Browse recorded videos, play them back, and download them to your smartphone.

180° Video Flip

This feature allows you to rotate the video orientation by 180 degrees, which is useful for flexible mounting options and ensuring the footage is always correctly oriented. This can be enabled or disabled in the app settings under 'Rotate video'.

Parking Monitoring & Time-Lapse Recording (Optional)

To enable 24/7 parking monitoring and time-lapse recording, a dedicated hardwire kit (sold separately) is required. Once installed, these features can be activated and configured via the KAWA AUTO app. Parking monitoring records impacts or motion, while time-lapse recording compresses footage to save storage.

  • If the icon shows a size under 16GB, replace the card with a Class 10, 32GB or higher Micro SD card.
