Introducció

Thank you for choosing the PAPIFEED Automatic Pet Feeder. This smart device is designed to provide regular and quantitative feeding for your cats and small to medium-sized dogs, ensuring a healthy diet and peace of mind for pet owners. This manual covers both the Button Type and WiFi versions of the feeder.

Guia de configuració

1. Desembaleu l'alimentador: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the main feeder unit, food bowl, and USB power cable.
2. Munta el bol de menjar: Place the stainless steel food bowl securely under the dispenser outlet.
3. Install Desiccant (Optional but Recommended): Open the lid of the feeder. Locate the built-in drying box. Insert a desiccant packet (usually included or purchased separately) into the box to maintain food freshness. Close the drying box and the feeder lid securely.

   

4. Fill with Pet Food: Open the top lid and pour dry pet food into the transparent grain drum. Ensure the food diameter is between 5-10mm for optimal dispensing. Do not overfill. Close the lid tightly.
5. Encès:
   • Potència primària: Connect the USB power cable to the feeder and plug it into a standard US power outlet (5V 1A adapter recommended).

6. Initial Test Feed: Press and hold the manual feed button for 2 seconds to dispense a small portion of food. This confirms the feeder is working and helps prime the system.
7. For WiFi Version Only - App Connection:
   • Download the PAPIFEED mobile application from your smartphone's app store.

Button Type Feeder

• Alimentació manual: Long press the feed button (usually marked with a '+' or similar icon) for 2 seconds to dispense one portion of food immediately.
• Establir l'horari d'alimentació: Use the control panel buttons (refer to the specific button layout on your feeder) to set feeding times and portion sizes. The LCD display will guide you through the settings.

WiFi Version Feeder

• Control d'aplicacions mòbils: Once connected to the app, you can remotely control all feeder functions from your smartphone.
• Schedule Feeding: Use the app to set precise feeding times, frequency, and portion sizes. You can create multiple feeding plans for different days or times.
• Alimentació manual: Use the 'Feed Now' or similar option in the app to dispense food instantly. You can also use the physical manual feed button on the feeder.
• Registres d'alimentació: The app typically provides a history of dispensed meals.

Manteniment

• Cleaning the Food Bowl: The stainless steel food bowl is removable and can be washed with soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.

Resolució de problemes

El dispensador no dispensa menjar:

• Check if the feeder is powered on and connected to a power source.
• Ensure there is sufficient food in the container.
• Verify that the food is not stuck. Gently shake the feeder or use the manual feed button to clear any blockages.
• Check if the food size is within the recommended 5-10mm range.
• For WiFi version, check app settings and feeder's network connection.

WiFi connection issues (WiFi Version only):

• Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz WiFi signal. The feeder does not support 5GHz networks.

Feeder loses settings after power outage:

• For optimal performance and to prevent clogging, use dry pet food within the recommended 5-10mm diameter. Avoid sticky or excessively large kibble.

• Place the feeder on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping, especially with active pets. The non-slip bottom helps with stability.
• If you have the WiFi version, ensure your home WiFi network is stable and operating on the 2.4GHz band for reliable remote control.
• Always keep backup batteries installed, even if you primarily use USB power, to ensure your pet is fed during unexpected power outages.
