Configuració

The Makita DDF487 operates with an 18V Lithium-Ion battery (sold separately). Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.

• To install: Align the battery pack with the grooves in the tool's handle and slide it in until it clicks into place.

• Rotate the torque setting ring to select the desired clutch setting (1-20) for fastening screws. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials, higher numbers for larger screws or harder materials.
• For drilling operations, rotate the ring to the drill symbol (indicated by a drill bit icon) to bypass the clutch and provide maximum torque.

The 2-speed adjustment switch allows you to select between high and low-speed modes, optimizing performance for different tasks.

• Position 1 (Low Speed): Ideal for heavy-duty applications requiring high torque, such as driving large screws or drilling into tough materials. (0-500 RPM)
• Position 2 (High Speed): Suitable for speedy drilling in light-duty applications. (0-1,700 RPM)

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Powering On/Off and Reversing

• To start the tool, pull the ON/OFF trigger. The speed increases with increased pressure on the trigger.
• To stop the tool, release the ON/OFF trigger.
• The reversing switch, conveniently located above the trigger, allows you to change the direction of rotation. Push it left for forward rotation (tightening) and right for reverse rotation (loosening).
• The lock button can be used to lock the trigger in the OFF position to prevent accidental starting.

2. Drilling and Fastening Applications

The DDF487 is versatile for various materials and tasks.

Manteniment
