5.2 Adjusting for Object Type
The R8 comes with three sets of fixtures to adapt to multiple special-shaped materials:

Figure 3: The three sets of fixtures for the ATOMSTACK R8.
- Threaded Cylindrical Pins: For ring-shaped objects.
- L-shaped Grippers: For cylindrical objects.
- Trapezoidal Grippers: For spherical objects.
Select the appropriate grippers for your object and attach them to the chuck body as shown in the operating instructions section.
5.3 Using Height-Increasing Feet (Optional)
If your laser engraver's working height is insufficient for the rotary attachment and the object, use the provided 120mm height-increasing feet to elevate the engraver.

6. Instruccions de funcionament
The ATOMSTACK R8 allows for versatile engraving on various shapes. Always ensure the object is stable and level before engraving.
6.1 Engraving Cylindrical Objects (e.g., Wine Glass, Cans)
- Attach the L-shaped grippers to the chuck body.
- Place the cylindrical object (e.g., wine glass, can, mug) onto the rollers. For transparent materials like glass, it is recommended to apply a dark, washable coating (e.g., black paint or ink) to the engraving area to absorb the laser energy effectively.
- Use the mini level to ensure the object is perfectly horizontal on the rollers. Adjust the rear support if necessary.
- Position the laser module directly above the object, ensuring the focal length is correctly set for the object's surface.
- In the ATOMSTACK STUDIO software, the system will automatically recognize the rotary mode. Configure your engraving design and parameters.
- Start the engraving process.

Figure 6: Engraving irregular cylindrical objects.
6.2 Engraving Spherical Objects (e.g., Wooden Balls, Glass Balls)
- Replace the L-shaped grippers with the trapezoidal grippers on the chuck body.
- Carefully place the spherical object into the grippers.
- Adjust the laser module's height and focus to the surface of the spherical object.
- Configure your design and parameters in the ATOMSTACK STUDIO software.
- Start the engraving process.
6.3 Engraving Ring-shaped Objects (e.g., Rings, Bracelets)
- Attach the threaded cylindrical pins to the chuck body.
- Securely place the ring-shaped object onto the pins.
- Adjust the laser module's height and focus to the surface of the ring.
- Configure your design and parameters in the ATOMSTACK STUDIO software.
- Start the engraving process.
6.4 Ajust dels angles de gravat
The R8 supports 180° horizontal rotation and 30° vertical elevation, allowing for engraving at multiple angles to suit different materials and designs.

Figure 7: Adjustable angles for engraving.
6.5 Processament ampliat per a elements llargs
The exclusive extended support design allows for processing of extra-long items up to 1 meter, provided the item's weight is within the bearable range (3kg).

Figure 8: Extended support for long items.
7. Manteniment
- Regularly clean the rollers and chuck body to prevent dust and debris buildup, which can affect performance. Use a soft, dry cloth.
- Inspect cables for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure all screws and connections are tight before each use to maintain stability.
- Store the rotary attachment in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
8. Solució De Problemes
- Rotary not recognized by software: Check USB cable connection. Ensure the laser engraver is powered on and the software is up to date.
- Engraving is distorted or uneven: Verify the object is perfectly level on the rollers using the mini level. Ensure the laser focus is correctly set for the object's surface. Check that the object is securely clamped and not slipping.
- Object not rotating: Check the motor cable connection. Ensure the rotary mode is correctly selected in the software.
- Weak engraving on transparent materials: Ensure a dark, laser-absorbent coating has been applied to the engraving area. Adjust laser power and speed settings.
9. Consells d'usuari
- For optimal results on glass, apply a thin, even layer of black tempera paint or a specialized laser engraving spray. This helps the laser to etch the surface more effectively.
- When engraving small or delicate items, use a low power setting and multiple passes to avoid damaging the material.
- Always perform a test engraving on a similar scrap material before working on your final piece to fine-tune settings.
- Utilize the adjustable angles to achieve unique and complex designs on various parts of your objects.
