4. Configuració

4.1. Instal·lació i càrrega de la bateria

The ZT-XR1 is powered by an internal 2000mAh lithium battery. It comes with a battery included.

3. Insert the 18650 battery if not already installed, observing correct polarity.

4.2. Connexió dels cables de prova

Always connect the common (COM) test lead first, then the live (positive) test lead.

• For Multimeter Functions (Voltage, Resistance, Capacitance, Diode, Frequency, Continuity):
  1. Insert the black test lead into the 'COM' jack.
  2. Insert the red test lead into the 'VΩHz' jack.
• For Battery Internal Resistance Testing (4-Wire Measurement):
  1. Connect the Kelvin clips to the dedicated 'BATT' and 'COM' ports. Ensure proper connection for accurate 4-wire measurement.

5. Funcionament

5.1. Encendre/apagar

Press the red power button once to turn on the device. To turn off, press and hold the power button for more than 2 seconds. The device also features an Auto Power-Off function to conserve battery life.

5.2. Digital Multimeter (DMM) Functions

In DMM mode, the ZT-XR1 supports a wide range of measurements:

• Volum AC / DCtage: Connect test leads to 'COM' and 'VΩHz' jacks. Use the 'Hz/V/mV' button to select AC or DC voltage. The device features auto-ranging.

The ZT-XR1 excels at internal resistance testing using a true 4-wire (Kelvin) measurement method with a 1KHz sine wave, providing milliohm-level accuracy.

1. Press the 'BATT DMM' button to switch to Battery Internal Resistance Test mode.
2. Connect the Kelvin clips to the battery terminals, ensuring good contact. The red clip typically connects to the positive terminal, and the black clip to the negative terminal.
3. The display will show the battery's voltage i resistència interna.
4. The device supports testing various battery types, including Button Cells, Alkaline Batteries, Carbon Batteries, Lithium Polymer Batteries, Lithium-Ion Batteries, and Lead-Acid Batteries.
