WARNING: Please use the 950/950Pro with caution. Using non-Radtel brand headphones and microphones may burn out the audio amplifier module and cause the radio to be silent.

5. Configuració inicial

5.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Assegureu-vos que la ràdio estigui apagada.
2. Alineeu la bateria amb el compartiment de la part posterior de la ràdio.
3. Premeu la bateria fermament fins que encaixi al seu lloc.

5.2. Fixació de l'antena

1. Enrosqueu l'antena en sentit horari al connector de l'antena a la part superior de la ràdio fins que quedi ben ajustada amb els dits. No l'estrengueu massa.

5.3. Carregant la bateria

The radio supports two charging methods:

• Càrrega d'escriptori: Place the radio in the desktop charging dock. Ensure the charging contacts on the radio align with those on the dock. The indicator light on the dock will show charging status.
• Càrrega tipus C: Connect the USB Type-C cable to the port on the side of the radio and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1. Engegada/Apagada i Volum

• Encès: Rotate the top-left knob clockwise until the screen illuminates.
• Apagar: Rotate the top-left knob counter-clockwise until the screen turns off.
• Ajust de volum: Rotate the top-left knob to adjust the listening volume.

6.3.1. GPS/APRS Position Sending

6.3.2. Integrated Spectrum Analyzer

6.3.7. Power Level Switching

The radio offers three power output levels: 10W, 5W, and 1W, allowing for smart switching to conserve battery or maximize range as needed. Navigate to the 'Radio Set' menu to adjust the 'Trans Power' setting.

6.3.8. Aviation Band Reception

The RT-950/Pro is capable of receiving signals in the 108-136MHz AM aviation band, allowing you to monitor air traffic communications.

6.3.9. Super Mode (Extended Full Band)

To enable extended full band transmit and receive, first start the machine, then press and hold the PTT button and the '8' key simultaneously during power-on. This will activate 'Super Mode'.

• For optimal range, ensure the antenna is securely attached and not obstructed.
• Regularly check battery levels, especially before extended use.
• Familiarize yourself with the Bluetooth programming app for easy customization of settings.
• When using the 27Mhz TX on the RT-950 Pro, remember it only supports FM modulation.
• Consider assigning frequently used functions to the customizable PTT buttons for quick access.

8. Solució De Problemes

Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly installed. Check if the power/volume knob is turned on.

Verify the antenna is properly connected. Check if the frequency is correctly set and within the radio's supported range. Ensure you are not in a receive-only mode or a restricted channel. Check the power output setting.

GPS/APRS Not Working
