Introducció

The CEM DT-3398B is a professional True RMS Clamp Meter designed to provide accurate AC and AC/DC current and voltage readings, regardless of waveform distortion. This meter is suitable for a wide range of industrial, commercial, and HVAC applications where precise measurements are critical, especially in environments with non-linear loads. It incorporates advanced features such as a large backlit display, easy clamp control, Bluetooth connectivity for data tracking, Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) detection, a built-in flashlight, and temperature measurement capabilities.

Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del mesurador.

3. Insert three 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2. Connexió a l'aplicació mòbil (Bluetooth)

The DT-3398B supports Bluetooth data transmission for tracking and analysis via a mobile application.

1. Download the official CEM mobile application from your device's app store.
2. Assegureu-vos que el Bluetooth estigui habilitat al vostre dispositiu mòbil.
3. Turn on the DT-3398B meter.
4. Open the mobile application and initiate a device scan.
5. Select 'DT-3398B AM' or a similar identifier from the list of available devices to connect.
6. Un cop connectat, pots view real-time measurements and track data within the app.

The DT-3398B features easy-to-use dials and buttons for various measurement functions.

1. Mides bàsiques

• Mesura de corrent AC/DC: Rotate the dial to the 'A' (Amperes) setting. Pull the trigger to open the clamp jaw and enclose the conductor. The current reading will appear on the display.
• Volum AC / DCtage Mesura: Rotate the dial to the 'V' (Volts) setting. Connect the test leads to the appropriate terminals and then to the circuit under test.
• Mesura de la resistència: Rotate the dial to the 'Ω' (Ohms) setting. Connect the test leads to the component to measure resistance.
• Mesura de la capacitat: Rotate the dial to the 'CAP' setting. Connect the test leads to the capacitor.
• Mesura de la temperatura: Rotate the dial to the '°C/°F' setting. Connect the temperature probe to the meter and place the probe on the surface or in the environment to measure temperature. This feature is ideal for HVAC professionals.
• Comprovació de continuïtat: Rotate the dial to the continuity symbol. If the resistance is below approximately 50Ω, the buzzer will sound.

Manteniment

1. Neteja

Netegeu el comptador amb anuncisamp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents. Ensure the meter is completely dry before storage or next use.

2. Substitució de la bateria

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries as described in the 'Setup' section to ensure accurate readings and proper operation.

3. Emmagatzematge

When not in use, store the meter in its carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Resolució de problemes

• Lectures inexactes: Verify the correct measurement function is selected. Ensure test leads are properly connected and not damaged. Check for external interference.
• La pantalla mostra 'OL': This indicates an overload, meaning the measured value exceeds the meter's range for the selected function. Switch to a higher range if available or ensure the measurement is within the meter's capabilities.
• Problemes de connexió Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the meter and mobile device. Restart both devices and try reconnecting.
