Introducció

The XOSS G3 and G3+ are advanced GPS bike computers designed for road and MTB cycling training. They provide comprehensive data tracking, GPS positioning, and connectivity with external sensors and a dedicated mobile application. This manual will guide you through the installation, operation, and maintenance of your device.

Configuració

Instal·lació del dispositiu

1. Col·loqueu el coixinet de goma a la part posterior del suport de bicicletes.
2. Utilitzeu una goma elàstica per fixar el suport al manillar o la tija.
3. Alineeu les pestanyes de la part posterior del dispositiu amb les ranures del suport de la bicicleta, premeu lleugerament cap avall i gireu el dispositiu 90 graus fins que quedi encaixat.

Instruccions de funcionament

Posicionament GPS

1. Premeu llargament el botó dret per encendre el dispositiu.
2. Short press the left button to start searching for GPS. The GPS icon will appear and start to flash.
3. After startup, stay still for a few minutes to acquire a GPS signal. When the GPS icon stops flashing with a BEEP prompt, it indicates the device is ready.
4. Long press the left button to save the workout after ending the ride. The Bike Computer will then restore to its initial interface.

Nota: When searching for a GPS signal, please remain static and make sure your device is used in an open, barrier-free area. The device only supports outdoor recording.

Connecta't amb l'aplicació XOSS

The XOSS app allows for data synchronization and device settings management.

1. Cerca "XOSS" in Google Play/App Store, or scan the QR code below to download the XOSS APP.
2. Turn on your XOSS G+ device and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
3. Open the XOSS APP, then navigate to Devices > Bike Computers > G/G+.

After connecting your XOSS G+ to the XOSS APP, you can click on settings to change Backlight, Key Tone, Auto Pause, Speed Alert, Tire Circumference, Units, Time Zone, etc. Your workout data will be automatically synced to the XOSS APP.

Nota: Premeu llargament el botó esquerre per finalitzar l'enregistrament abans de la connexió. L'aplicació està dissenyada per a Bluetooth 4.0 o versions posteriors.

Manage Workouts via XOSS APP

1. Connect your G+ device to the XOSS APP.
2. Feu clic a Storage > Workout.
3. Feu clic Edita in the upper right corner to select and manage (delete or resync) your workouts.

Customize the data displayed on your device screen through the XOSS APP:

1. Connecta G+ a l'aplicació XOSS.
2. Feu clic Data Layout.

Requisits: Firmware version 1.09 or later; XOSS app version Android 3.10.2 or later, iOS 3.11.0 or later.

Configuració de la zona horària a l'aplicació XOSS

To synchronize the device's time zone with your phone:

1. Connecta G+ a l'aplicació XOSS.
2. Feu clic Configuració > User Profile > Time Zone.

Recordable Data Types

The device can record up to 50 types of data, including but not limited to:

• Speed (Current, Avg, Max, Lap Avg, Lap Max)
• Heart Rate (Current, Avg, Max, Lap Avg, Lap Max)
• Power (Current, Avg, 3S Avg, 10S Avg, 30S Avg, Max, Lap Avg, Lap Max, W/KG)
• Cadence (Current, Avg, Max, Lap Avg, Lap Max)
• Time (Current, Paused, Total, Lap, Lap Paused, Lap Total)
• Distance (Current, Lap, Odometer)
• Elevation (Current, Gain, Grad, Loss, Max, VAM, Lap Gain, Lap Loss, Lap Max, Lap VAM)
• Calories, Lap Calories, Clock, Temperature, Laps
• Headlight Control, Taillight Control

ANT+ Sensor Connection (G3+ only)

The G3+ supports connection with various ANT+ sensors.

1. Bring the device within 3 meters of your sensors and keep it at least 10 meters away from other riders' sensors.
2. Press both buttons simultaneously on the XOSS G+ until the ANT+ icon starts flashing, indicating it's searching for active sensors.
3. If pairing succeeds, the icon will remain static. Press the right button again to enter the "Tire Circumference" setting interface.

Device Settings (Circumference, Metric/Imperial, Time Zone)

These settings can be adjusted directly on the device:

• Tire Circumference Setting (mm): Use the left button to set numbers, the right button to switch position, and long press the right button to proceed to the next step.
• Metric/Imperial Unit Setting: Use the left button to switch units, and long press the right button to proceed to the next step.
• Configuració de la zona horària: Use the left button to switch numbers, the right button to switch position, and long press the right button to end the setting.

Customizable Function Button (G3+ only)

The middle button on the G3+ cycling computer is customizable. It can be configured via the XOSS app to:

• Start lap counting.
• Control headlight and taillight switches.
• Toggle between different light modes.

Lap Counting (G3+ only)

The G3+ supports four types of lap counting:

• Basat en el temps: Automatically counts a lap when a set time interval is reached.
• Distance-Based: Automatically counts a lap when a set distance is reached.
• Location-Based: Premeu el botó del mig per marcar una ubicació. L'ordinador comptarà automàticament una volta cada vegada que arribi a la ubicació marcada.
• manual: Press the middle button once to complete a lap and start the next.

*Els quatre modes de recompte de voltes requereixen un posicionament GPS correcte per començar. Mantingueu premut el botó esquerre per finalitzar les voltes.

Manteniment

Actualització del firmware

When new firmware is available, the XOSS APP will prompt you to update it. It is recommended to keep the firmware updated for optimal performance and new features.

• If you encounter issues (e.g., stuck in dFu mode) during a firmware upgrade, try toggling Bluetooth off and back on in your phone's settings, then reconnect the XOSS APP to attempt the upgrade again.

Resolució de problemes

• Problemes d'adquisició del senyal GPS: Ensure you are in an open, barrier-free area and remain static during initial GPS search.
• Problemes de connexió de l'aplicació: Verify Bluetooth is enabled on both the device and your phone. Ensure the XOSS app is updated to the latest version (Bluetooth 4.0 or later required).
• Error d'actualització del firmware: If the device gets stuck during an update, try restarting Bluetooth on your phone and reconnecting to the app.
• Sensor Connectivity (G3+): Ensure ANT+ sensors are within 3 meters of the device and not interfered with by other nearby sensors.
