Introducció

This ANENG PN135 digital clamp meter is a 4000-count, true RMS, automatic intelligent digital clamp meter. It simplifies operation by automatically recognizing and measuring input voltage, current, or resistance without requiring manual function selection. Designed for stable performance, high precision, and reliability, it provides clear readings and includes overload protection. It is powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries and features a large LCD display. Its compact size makes it easy to carry, making it an ideal tool for laboratories, factories, radio enthusiasts, and households.

Components:

  1. Induction pliers head

Configuració

Instal·lació de la bateria

The ANENG PN135 requires two 1.5V AAA batteries for operation. To install or replace batteries:

  1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del dispositiu.
  2. Obriu la tapa de la bateria.
  3. Introduïu dues piles AAA d'1.5 V, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).
  4. Tanqueu la tapa de la bateria amb seguretat.

The device features a low battery indication to alert you when batteries need replacement.

Instruccions de funcionament

The ANENG PN135 features automatic intelligent recognition for common measurements. For specific functions, manual switching may be required using the "SEL" button.

Encès/Apagat

  • Encès: Press and hold the "SEL" button for more than 2 seconds. The instrument will display "Auto".
  • Apagueu: The instrument will automatically shut down if there is no operation within 15 minutes. Alternatively, long press the "SEL" button to power off.

AC Current Measurement (600A Max)

  1. Press the "SEL" button for more than 2 seconds to turn on the device. The instrument will display "Auto".
  2. Premeu el gallet per obrir el clamp cap.
  3. Lloc a solter wire in the center of the clamp.
  4. Tanqueu el clamp head. The current value will be measured and displayed.

Nota important:

  • Simultaneously clamping two or three wires will not yield an accurate measurement.
  • For accurate measurement, place the measured conductor at the center position inside the clamp.
  • The main LCD screen displays current measurement data.
  • Automatic recognition measures currents > 0.3A. For lower currents, short press the "SEL" button to switch to AC current mode.
  • The current frequency value is only displayed when the current value is greater than 2.5A.
  • When measuring current, the test probes between "INPUT" and "COM" should be unplugged.

DC Voltage Measurement (0.1V-600V)

  1. Ensure the device is powered on and displays "Auto".
  2. Insert the red test probe into the "INPUT" socket and the black test probe into the "COM" socket.
  3. Connect the probes to the power supply or load to be tested. The polarity of the red probe terminal will be displayed on the monitor.
  4. The main LCD screen will show the measured DC voltage dades.

Precaució:

  • No introduïu voltage higher than 600V. While it may display higher voltage, there is a risk of damaging the internal wiring of the instrument.
  • Quan es mesura un alt voltage, avoid touching the metal parts of the probes to prevent electric shock.
  • Automatic recognition for measured voltage is ≥ 0.8V. For lower voltages, manually switch to DC voltage mode if needed.

Vol. ACtage Measurement (0.01V-600V)

  1. Ensure the device is powered on and displays "Auto".
  2. Insert the red test probe into the "INPUT" socket and the black test probe into the "COM" socket.

Resistance Measurement (0.1Ω-40MΩ)

  1. Ensure the device is powered on and displays "Auto".
  2. Insert the red test probe into the "INPUT" socket and the black test probe into the "COM" socket.
  3. Connect the probes across the component to be measured.
  4. The main LCD screen will show the measured resistance value.

Precaució:

  • If the measured resistance value exceeds the maximum range, the display will show "OL".
  • When checking online resistance, ensure all power sources in the circuit are off and all capacitors are fully discharged.

Capacitance Measurement (10nF-40mF)

  1. Assegureu-vos que el dispositiu estigui encès.
  2. Insert the red test probe into the "INPUT" socket and the black test probe into the "COM" socket.
  3. Connect the probes across the capacitor.
  4. The main LCD screen will show the measured capacitance value.

Precaució:

  • For safety reasons, ensure the capacitor is short-circuited (discharged) before measurement.

Prova de díode

  3. Touch the positive and negative electrodes of the diode with the respective test probes.

On-off Beep (Continuity Test)

  1. Assegureu-vos que el dispositiu estigui encès.
  2. Insert the red test probe into the "INPUT" socket and the black test probe into the "COM" socket.
  3. Connect the probes across the circuit or component.
  4. If a beep is heard, it indicates the circuit is unobstructed (continuity).

NCV (vol sense contacte).tage) Detecció

  1. Short press the "NCV/LIGHT" button to switch to NCV mode.
  2. Move the induction pliers head close to the wire or power source.
  3. Quan voltage is detected, the screen will display "---" and a buzzing alarm will sound. The closer the distance to the power supply, the more urgent the alarm.

Nota important:

  • NCV detects voltage by inducing electric/magnetic fields. If a wire is covered with metal/aluminum foil shielding or very thick insulating materials, these shields can block the electric field, making NCV unable to penetrate the detection.
  • The sensor needs to be close to the measured wire (usually ≤ 2cm) and aligned with the direction of the electric field (e.g., parallel to the wire), otherwise the electric field attenuation may cause detection to fail.

LIVE Wire Discrimination

  1. Short press the "NCV/LIGHT" button to switch to LIVE mode.
  2. Insert a test probe into the socket hole.
  3. If it's a live line, the screen displays "----" and emits a beep.
  4. If it's a naught line (neutral), the meter does not respond.

Il·luminació de llanterna

  • Long press the "NCV/LIGHT" button for about 3 seconds to turn on the flashlight.
  • This feature is useful for working in dim environments.

Data Retention (HOLD)

  • Short press the "BL/HOLD" button to retain the current measurement data on the display.
  • Press again to release data retention.

  • Long press the "BL/HOLD" button to turn on the LCD backlight.
  • This enhances readability in low-light conditions.

Manteniment

Atenció General

  • Mantingueu el dispositiu net i sec. Netegeu-lo amb un drap suau i sec.amp drap si cal. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius ni dissolvents.
  • Guardeu el dispositiu en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
  • Eviteu deixar caure el dispositiu o sotmetre-lo a forts impactes.

Canvi de bateria

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries promptly to ensure accurate measurements and proper device function. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section under Setup for instructions.

Resolució de problemes

"OL" Displayed

  • Causa: The measured value exceeds the maximum range of the current function.
  • Solució: Ensure the measurement is within the specified range for the selected function. For resistance, ensure the circuit is de-energized.

No Reading / Inaccurate AC Current

  • Causa: Multiple wires clamped simultàniament.
  • Solució: Ensure only a single live wire is placed within the clamp jaws for AC current measurement.
  • Causa: Measured current is too low for automatic recognition.
  • Solució: Manually switch to AC current mode if the current is below 0.3A.

NCV Not Detecting Voltage

  • Causa: Wire is shielded or too thick.
  • Solució: NCV may not work through metal shielding or very thick insulation. Try to get closer to the unshielded part of the wire or use direct contact measurement if safe.
  • Causa: Sensor not properly aligned or too far from the wire.
  • Solució: Ensure the sensor is within 2cm of the wire and aligned parallel to it.

El dispositiu no s'encén

  • Causa: Dead or incorrectly installed batteries.
  • Solució: Check battery polarity and replace with fresh 1.5V AAA batteries.

Consells per a l'usuari

  • For optimal accuracy when measuring AC current, always ensure the wire is centered within the clamp mandíbules.
  • Remember to unplug test probes from the INPUT and COM sockets when performing AC current measurements with the clamp.
  • When testing resistance or continuity in a circuit, always de-energize the circuit and discharge any capacitors first to prevent damage to the meter and ensure safety.
  • The auto-ranging feature is convenient, but for very low current or voltage measurements, manually selecting the specific mode can sometimes provide quicker or more precise results.
