1. Instruccions de seguretat

3. Muntatge i muntatge

3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The DGA504 operates with an 18V lithium-ion battery (not included with bare tool). Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.

1. Alineeu el paquet de bateries amb la ranura de la bateria de l'eina.
2. Feu lliscar la bateria a la ranura fins que encaixi al seu lloc. Assegureu-vos que estigui ben enganxada.
3. Per treure-la, premeu el botó d'alliberament de la bateria i feu-la lliscar cap a fora.

3.2 Fixació de la nansa lateral

The side handle can be attached to either side of the gear housing for optimal control and comfort, depending on the application and user preference.

1. Screw the side handle clockwise into one of the threaded holes on the gear housing until it is firmly secured.

3.3 Disc Guard Adjustment

The disc guard protects against sparks and debris. Ensure it is correctly positioned for the task.

1. Loosen the screw or lever on the disc guard.
2. Rotate the guard to the desired position to deflect sparks away from you.
3. Tighten the screw or lever firmly to secure the guard.

3.4 Grinding/Cutting Disc Installation

Always use the correct type and size of disc for your application. Refer to the disc manufacturer's instructions for proper use.

1. Assegureu-vos de treure la bateria.
2. Premeu el botó de bloqueig del fus per evitar que el fus giri.
3. Col·loqueu la brida interior al cargol.
4. Place the grinding/cutting disc onto the inner flange, ensuring it is centered.
5. Thread the outer flange onto the spindle and tighten it firmly using the lock nut wrench.
6. Allibereu el botó de bloqueig de l'eix.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Engegada/apagada

The DGA504 features a mid-mounted two-stage safety switch for safe operation.

1. To start the tool, slide the safety switch forward and then press the power trigger.
2. To stop the tool, release the power trigger. The safety switch will automatically return to the locked position.

4.2 Aplicacions

This angle grinder is suitable for a variety of tasks:

• Tall: Use appropriate cutting discs for metal, stone, PVC, or wood.

5. Manteniment

Un manteniment regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil de l'eina. Traieu sempre la bateria abans de realitzar qualsevol manteniment.

5.1 Neteja

• Clean the tool's ventilation openings regularly to prevent dust buildup, which can lead to overheating.
• Netegeu el cos de l'eina amb un drap suauamp tela. No utilitzeu productes químics aggressivs ni netejadors abrasius.
• Remove any debris or dust from the disc guard and spindle area.

5.2 Disc Guard Inspection

The disc guard is made of thickened metal material for durability. Regularly inspect it for any signs of damage, cracks, or deformation. Replace if necessary to ensure user safety.

5.3 Cura de la bateria

• Guardeu les piles en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de la calor.
• No emmagatzemeu les piles completament descarregades durant períodes prolongats.
• Use only Makita-approved chargers for your 18V lithium-ion batteries.
