6. Configuració
- Carregueu el dispositiu: Before first use, fully charge the spot welder using the provided USB cable and a compatible power adapter (not included). Connect the Micro-USB or Type-C cable to the input port on the device. The digital display may indicate charging status.
- Connect Welding Pens: Insert the welding pens into the 'WELDING PEN' ports, ensuring correct positive (+) and negative (-) polarity. The pens are typically color-coded (e.g., red for positive, black/blue for negative).
- (Optional) Connect Test Leads: If your model includes test leads (e.g., RL-936W), connect them to the 'PROBE PORT' interfaces, observing polarity. These are used for testing purposes, not welding.
- Encès: Press and hold the 'Gear Shift' button to power on the device. The digital display will light up, showing the current gear setting.
7. Instruccions de funcionament
7.1. Spot Welding
- Preparació de la peça de treball: Ensure the surfaces to be welded (e.g., battery terminal and nickel sheet) are clean and free of oxidation.
- Adjust Output Power (Gear): Press the 'Gear Shift' button repeatedly to cycle through the 8 available power levels (1-8). Start with a lower setting (e.g., 3-5) and adjust as needed based on the material thickness and desired weld strength. A higher number indicates higher power.
- Posició dels bolígrafs de soldadura: Hold the welding pens firmly. Place the tips of both welding pens onto the nickel sheet, ensuring good contact with the battery terminal underneath. The tips should be close together but not touching each other.
- Iniciar la soldadura: The device will automatically detect contact and initiate a weld after a short delay. A small spark and a 'click' sound indicate a successful weld.
- Inspeccionar la soldadura: After welding, gently pull on the nickel strip to check the strength of the weld. Adjust the power gear if the weld is too weak or too strong.
- Repetiu: Move to the next welding point and repeat the process.
7.2. Using as a Mobile Power Source
The device can function as a power bank to charge other electronic devices.
- Ensure the spot welder is powered on.
- Connect your mobile device's charging cable to the 'USB/Output' port on the spot welder.
- The spot welder will begin charging your device with a 2A output.
8. Manteniment
- Neteja: After each use, clean the welding pen tips with a fine abrasive or sandpaper to remove any residue and ensure good conductivity. Wipe the main unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
