Important Note on Metallic Surfaces: This 8–14 mm long-wave temperature sensor does not perform well in measuring the temperature of shiny or polished metal objects. The metal surface must have a coating, paint, oxide layer, or high-temperature adhesive tape to achieve accurate measurement results. If direct measurement of shiny metals or red-hot objects is required, a short-wave temperature sensor is recommended, which can measure temperatures up to over 3500°C.

  • This sensor is not suitable for direct measurement of bare metallic surfaces.
  • Do not exceed the selected temperature range.
  • Avoid aiming at fast-moving objects.
  • Ensure correct wiring and proper grounding to prevent inaccurate readings or equipment damage.

  • Do not use the sensor in explosive or flammable environments unless additional certification is provided.
  • Incorrect wiring or improper installation may result in equipment damage or inaccurate measurement.
