Before using your coffee machine for the first time, please follow these steps:

   • Place an empty thermal carafe with its lid on the warming plate.
   • Plug the appliance into a suitable wall outlet (220-240V ~ 50Hz).
   • Press the On/Off button. The control light will illuminate.
   • Allow the machine to complete a full brewing cycle with only water.
   • Discard the hot water. Repeat this process once or twice to thoroughly clean the internal components.

1. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Open the lid of the water tank and fill it with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. The water level indicator on the side will help you measure. Do not exceed the "10 cups" maximum mark.
2. Insereix un filtre: Recline the filter cartridge. Insert a paper filter (not included) into the cartridge.
3. Afegir cafè mòlt: Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the paper filter. A general guideline is one tablespoon of ground coffee per cup, but adjust to your taste.
4. Close Filter: Slide the filter cartridge back into place securely.

3. Rentar les peces desmuntables: Wash the thermal carafes, their lids, and the removable filter cartridge in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are generally not dishwasher safe unless specified otherwise in a full manual.

5. NO submergiu: Never immerse the main unit of the coffee machine in water or any other liquid.

7.2 Descalcificació

Mineral deposits (limescale) from water can build up in your coffee machine and affect its performance and the taste of your coffee. Descale your machine regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-4 weeks).
