6. Configuració

6.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The device uses one CR2 battery (included). Follow these steps to install the battery:

Four-step diagram showing how to install the CR2 battery into the ARTBULL Laser Rangefinder. Steps include preparing a coin, inserting the coin to open the battery compartment, installing the battery with positive pole facing outward, and closing the compartment.
Figura 5: Passos d'instal·lació de la bateria
  1. Prepare a coin and the CR2 battery.
  2. Insert the coin into the groove of the instrument's battery compartment cover. Rotate counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
  3. Install the CR2 battery into the battery compartment. Ensure the positive pole faces outward. If the battery is installed incorrectly, the instrument will not start up.
  4. Cover the battery compartment cover, insert the coin into the groove, and turn it clockwise to tighten it. Press firmly to ensure the cover is securely closed.

Note: If the cover is not tightened properly, the instrument may not function. If the instrument does not start, please confirm the battery is installed correctly and the cover is tightened.

7. Funcionament

7.1. Encendre/apagar

  • Premeu el botó Botó de mesura per encendre el dispositiu.
  • The device features intelligent power saving and will automatically turn off if there is no operation within 10 seconds.

7.2. Switching Measurement Units (Meter/Yard)

  • Horizon Distance Mode: Measures the horizontal distance between two points (A to C).

  • Vertical Distance Mode: Measures the vertical distance between two points (A to B).

Illustration of Height Difference Mode, showing how to measure the height difference between two points A and B, with a visual example of measuring the height of a tower section.
    Figure 10: Height Difference Mode
  • Golf Mode (with Slope Compensation and Flagpole Locking):
    • Flagpole Locking Function: In short-range priority ranging, this mode eliminates peripheral interference when measuring distant small objects and prioritizes locking onto the nearest measurement target for ranging. Users can move the equipment slowly between different objects around the flagpole and deliberately let the laser capture multiple objects to ensure that the laser recognizes the nearest object.
Illustration of Flagpole Locking Function in Golf Mode, showing the rangefinder locking onto a flagpole on a golf course, ignoring background objects.
      Figure 11: Flagpole Locking Function
    • Slope Compensation Function: When the swing distance is too far to measure the distance and swing angle, the slope compensation distance can guide the player on how to hit the ball. After the target value and distance value are obtained from continuous measurement and single measurement, the angle value will be displayed in the upper sub-display area, which will become the compensation value of golf after a period of time.
Illustration of Slope Compensation Function in Golf Mode, showing how the rangefinder calculates adjusted distance based on elevation changes (slope).

9. Solució De Problemes

ProblemaCausa possibleSolució
El dispositiu no s'encén.La bateria està morta o mal instal·lada.Replace the CR2 battery or re-install it ensuring correct polarity and that the battery compartment cover is securely tightened.
Mesures inexactes.Lens is dirty; target is too small or reflective; environmental interference (fog, heavy rain).Clean the lenses with the provided cloth. Ensure the target is within the device's range and is suitable for laser measurement. Avoid use in extreme weather conditions.
Display is dim or unclear.Eyepiece not adjusted; low battery.Rotate the eyepiece to adjust focus. Check battery level and replace if low.
No es poden canviar els modes ni les unitats.Mode button not pressed correctly or device is frozen.Ensure the Mode button is pressed firmly for the required duration (2-3 seconds for unit switch). If unresponsive, try removing and re-inserting the battery.

10. Consells d'usuari

  • For best results, hold the rangefinder steady during measurement.
  • When using Flagpole Locking, slowly scan the area around the flag to ensure the device locks onto the nearest object (the flag).
  • Always check the battery level before extended use.
  • Practice with the different modes in a familiar environment to get comfortable with their functions.
