Q2: Why doesn't the power readout match my device's maximum advertised wattage (e.g., 100W for a laptop)?

A: This is due to intelligent, adaptive charging. Devices like phones and laptops do not charge at a fixed rate. They follow a dynamic power curve:

• Peak power is typically only drawn when the battery is very low and the screen is off.
• Power intake gradually decreases as the battery fills up to preserve its long-term health.
• Other factors like active screen use or background apps can also temporarily reduce draw.

This smart power management happens with any high-quality charger, including the one that came with your device, and is a sign of a sophisticated charging system.

Issue: Charging power does not reach the advertised maximum.

Solution: This cannot be completely attributed to the charger. It may be due to the quality of other components, such as the charging cable. Ensure you are using a high-quality charging cable that supports more than 60W (cables supporting more than 60W often require an E-Marker chip). Also, verify that your device supports the desired full-power charging. For example, if your mobile phone's maximum supported charging is 45W, it will not draw more than 45W, even from a 100W charger. For MacBook charging exceeding 100W, please use a MagSafe-3 charger.
