1. Introducció

The GMKtec Nucbox K7 PLUS is a high-performance mini PC designed for a wide range of applications, including office work, business, home entertainment, and gaming. It features the powerful Intel Core i7-13620H processor, advanced connectivity options, and efficient cooling, all within a compact form factor.

Important Note on Configuration:

If you purchased the "No Ram No Storage" option, the device does not include a memory module or hard drive. You will need to acquire and install these components, along with the operating system, yourself. All other configurations come with a pre-installed and activated Windows 11 Pro system.

3.1 Contingut del paquet

3.2 Hardware Installation (for "No Ram No Storage" option)

If your Mini PC did not come with pre-installed RAM and SSD, follow these steps:

1. Obriu el xassís: Carefully remove the detachable cover lid of the Mini PC. Refer to Figure 4 for an internal view.
2. Instal·lació de la memòria RAM: Locate the DDR5 SO-DIMM slots. Align the RAM module with the slot, press down firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Install SSD: Locate the M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 slot. Insert the M.2 SSD at an angle and secure it with the provided screw.

3.3 Connexió de perifèrics

1. Connecta la pantalla: Connect your monitor(s) to the Mini PC using the HDMI, DisplayPort, or Type-C USB 4.0 ports. The device supports up to three displays simultaneously.
2. Connecteu el teclat i el ratolí: Plug your USB keyboard and mouse into the available USB3.2 ports.
3. Connecteu-vos a la xarxa: For a wired connection, plug an Ethernet cable into one of the 2.5G LAN ports. For wireless, ensure your WiFi antenna is connected (if external) or that the internal antenna is unobstructed.

3.4 Arrencada inicial

1. After connecting all peripherals and power, press the Power Button on the front of the Mini PC.
2. The system will boot up. If you have a pre-installed OS, it will load Windows 11 Pro.
3. If you installed your own RAM/SSD, you will need to install your preferred operating system. Follow the on-screen instructions for OS installation.

4.1 Encès/Apagat

• Encès: Premeu el botó d'engegada una vegada.
• Apagar: In Windows, go to Start > Power > Shut down. Alternatively, press and hold the Power Button for 5 seconds to force a shutdown (use only if necessary).
• Reinicia: A Windows, aneu a Inici > Energia > Reiniciar.

4.2 Connectivitat de xarxa

• Cablejat (Ethernet): Connect an Ethernet cable to one of the two 2.5G LAN ports. The system should automatically detect the connection.
• Sense fil (Wi-Fi): Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows settings. Select your desired network from the available list and enter the password if prompted. The Mini PC supports WiFi 6 for high-speed wireless connections.

4.3 Multiple Display Setup

The Nucbox K7 PLUS supports connecting up to three displays simultaneously using a combination of HDMI, DisplayPort, and Type-C USB 4.0. After connecting the monitors, Windows should automatically detect them. You can configure display settings (e.g., extend, duplicate) in Windows Display Settings.

4.4 Using USB and Type-C Ports

The USB3.2 (Gen2) ports offer high-speed data transfer for peripherals like external hard drives, flash drives, and other USB devices. The Type-C USB 4.0 port supports data transfer, video output (up to 4K@60Hz), and potentially power delivery (check device compatibility).

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja

• Regularly clean the exterior of the Mini PC with a soft, dry cloth.
• Use compressed air to gently clear dust from the air vents to ensure optimal airflow and cooling. Do this periodically, especially if the device is in a dusty environment.

5.2 Actualitzacions de programari

Keep your operating system (Windows 11 Pro) and drivers updated to ensure optimal performance and security. Windows Update will typically handle OS updates automatically. For driver updates, check the GMKtec official website or your device manager.

5.3 Sistema de refrigeració

The Nucbox K7 PLUS features dual cooling fans and multiple air vents to maintain optimal operating temperatures. Ensure that the air vents are not blocked and that the Mini PC has adequate space around it for proper ventilation. Avoid placing the device in enclosed spaces or on soft surfaces that can obstruct airflow.

6. Solució De Problemes

• Sense energia:

• Problemes de sobreescalfament/rendiment:
  • Ensure the Mini PC's vents are not blocked and there is adequate airflow around the device.
  • Clean any dust from the vents (refer to Maintenance section).

• Restabliment del sistema:
  • A small reset button may be available (refer to Figure 5). Use a paperclip to press it if the system is unresponsive. This typically initiates a soft reset without data loss, but always save your work.
